Join us for a fun and delicious evening of food, drink and surreal delights inspired by Salvador Dalí’s Les Diners de Gala, with .

Jack, a chef known for his inventive pop-ups spanning food, immersive theatre and dining experiences, will present a feast inspired by Dalí’s wonderfully extravagant world. Having worked across London restaurants including Toklas, Café Deco and The Prince Arthur, Jack brings together his love of food, performance and playful dining for an evening unlike any other.

The evening will also feature a live, evolving soundscape by jennifer walton and harpist aga ujma. Blending improvised electronics and harp, Jennifer and Aga will create a surreal dreamscape in real time, responding to the buffet feast as the evening unfolds.

The evening will also raise money for Arts Network, an arts and mental health charity based in Lewisham that uses creativity to improve wellbeing in a non-clinical environment.

Dear loyal customers; unfortunately we have had to make the difficult decision not to reboot our bread production.

The figures just don’t stack up volume wise to produce & sell at a reasonable retail price. We will continue to bake buns, cakes and focaccia (for our sandwiches and toasties).

Thanks for your understanding 🧡

All things must pass..

In November 2021, we were offered a big white box on the edge of Elephant Park, as the new towers around us were still being built and residents trickled in...

We moved in with three other independent local businesses, Solo Craft Fair, Fix My Cycle and Vintage Matters as part of a two year "meanwhile use activation exercise" by the developers Lendlease

They clearly liked what we were doing, as our lease was extended twice, to just under 5 years.

But only with a very short notice period.

So, on Wednesday 7 October, we will all be vacating our big white box on the edge of the park.

But fear not, we have plans in motion to relocate nearby.

Thanks to all our staff and customers, past, present... and future .

And stay tuned for more info...

We’ll still be open as usual with our best-selling cinnamon and cardamom buns—just no bread for a short period.

We’ve gone to the beach for August… sort of!

That means there’ll be no bread, croissants or pains au chocolat until September. Sorry!

But don’t worry—our bestselling cinnamon & cardamom buns will still be baked fresh every day. And of course, we’ll continue serving coffee and sandwiches daily too.

See you round ours soon 🧡
