: Kidney Care UK is a cause close to my heart. My dad, Mazid Khondoker, lived with complete kidney failure and underwent dialysis three times a week for the ten years before his death in 2024.
It was a relentless routine that shaped his life.
Yet he faced it without complaint, always grateful for the extraordinary care he received from the renal team at Lewisham Hospital.
In his honour, I’m walking 100km (from London to Brighton!), alongside my wonderful friend, Rebecca Neve, to raise vital funds for Kidney Care UK. Their mission is simple and powerful: to ensure that no one faces kidney disease alone.
They provide practical, emotional and financial support to kidney patients and their families.
If you’re able to donate, whatever the amount, it would mean so much. Your support will help families navigating dialysis, transplants, and the life-changing impact of kidney disease.

We are seeking an individual to arrange the chairs and tables outside the café every morning, Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 AM. The task should take approximately 20 minutes, offering £25 per week.
