"With Chef Albert’s passing we have lost a true Chef in every sense; an unparalleled cook, and inspirational leader. His accolades prove his unrelenting dedication to exceptional food and service throughout his career, but his legacy lives in his extraordinary commitment and mentorship of the people of hospitality - the cooks, waiters, farmers and suppliers he taught continue to follow the path he cleared for us. The power of Chef Albert’s mentorship was the strength of his example; we will continue to cook as he showed us - with the best ingredients, simply cooked, with love, integrity and passion. RIP Chef Albert" - Chris King, Executive Chef, The Langham, London
