The Pale Blue Door is a unique and whimsical restaurant located in London. Set designer Tony Hornecker opened his house to the public as an art installation dining experience 8 years ago, and since then it has been emptied, packed up, and carted around the world popping up in various cities. Now back in its birthplace of London, The Pale Blue Door offers a speakeasy-style dining experience where guests are greeted by drag performers, enjoy their meal in candlelit bedrooms or under trees of hanging roses with mechanical disco balls, and are entertained by mid-meal lip-syncing performances. The menu offers creative dishes like Sweet Potato and Mango Ceviche and Ricotta Mint and Olive Stuffed Courgette with Roasted Vegetable Quinoa, followed by Forest Berry Mess for dessert. Complimentary half-bottles of wine per person are also included. Bookings can be made through email or phone.
