Why Brazil? Well, there’s no place quite like it. The fifth largest country in the world, Brazil is a melting pot of cultural diversity. Characterised by Amerindian, European, African and Asian populations (plus many more), the foods of Brazil differ greatly by region – but the preservation of native ingredients and cooking remains.

This Friday is World Earth Day!
Planting trees is one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C. They give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilise the soil and give life to the world's wildlife.
Each year on the 22nd April, people across the globe join together to drive positive action for our planet. Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970. Today, around 1 billion people across the world take part to demonstrate support for environmental protection, and highlight how we can take action.
To celebrate, we have partnered with Sapling Spirits to plant as many trees as possible.
From today until Sunday, every time someone orders an ‘Earth Day Martini’ cocktail, Sapling Spirits will plant a tree. It’s that simple!

Happy International Women’s Day!
Every year on 8th March, International Women’s Day helps to recognise and commemorate the achievements of women from all over the world. Today is not only a day to pay tribute to the successes of women, but it’s also a time to reflect upon women’s struggle for equality and to talk about what we can do to combat them.
This year’s theme of is a call to action to actively call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping each time you see it. But it’s not just about today. It’s every day. This small action is a step towards change for us all.
From our incredible team members to our lovely customers and all the wonderful women working so hard to make a difference… we support you, we appreciate you and we love you!

During the months of November & December we added an optional £1 to all guest bills in Mildreds & mallow to raise money for StreetSmart.
We are thrilled to say that during those two months, we raised £24,881!
StreetSmart do incredibly valuable work in supporting homeless and vulnerable people in the UK. We’ve been supporting them for the last 20 years, and have now raised over £124k!
Thank you so much to all of our customers who helped us raise so much money, we’re very proud to continue our ongoing relationship with this great organisation.

Everything you enjoy at Mildreds, from our starters to our desserts, our main dishes to our cocktails, is 100% plant-based. All month, every month.
This January we're bringing you some brand new specials, including our Katsu hot dog, Plum Tofu Gua Bao buns and White Miso broth. There's even some brand new mocktails for anyone doing dry Jan.

Take the Overground and get off at Dalston Junction Station. From there, take the main exit and walk straight until you reach Kingsland Road. Turn left onto Kingsland Road and then take a right onto Dalston Square.
Driving/parking:
If driving, take the A10 towards Dalston and turn onto A104. Follow A104 until you reach Kingsland High Street. Take a left onto Ashwin Street and then another left onto Dalston Square. There is parking available on-site at Dalston Square or nearby multi-story car parks.
