Tascas up and down Portugal offer a hearty and nutritious single plate of food known as the ‘Prato do Dia’ or dish of the day. Favoured by locals, the dish is designed to be enjoyed during a quick lunch break, typically an hour or less.

Our Prato do Dia lunch special offers a choice of boneless chicken thighs or charred cauliflower, grilled to perfection with a side of chips and hispi slaw for £14. Available weekdays between 12pm-3pm at Casa Shoreditch, Piccadilly and Victoria.

We’re often asked to recommend restaurants on the Algarve, and António Tá Certo is always on our list. Easily one of the best restaurants in the region specialising in fresh seafood. It’s a family-run restaurant right on the beach.

The restaurant is known for the quality of its fresh white fish, which is often caught that morning by local fisherman. In true Portuguese style, the fish is simply grilled over wood-charcoal. We’d also highly recommend the carabineros and prawns.
