We all know that in order to lose weight, we need to be in a calorie deficit, meaning our body uses up more energy than we consume. You can either only diet, or combine dieting with cardio or strength training.๐Ÿ‘Œ

I would never recommend only dieting to lose weight because doing no exercise means that you have to eat an extremely low amount of calories. Doing this after a while will result in your physique appearing skinny and maybe even โ€˜weakโ€™.๐Ÿ˜ข

For those who absolutely despise strength training, doing cardio while dieting will help you lose weight too. Doing cardio is great for your health and will help you stay fit, but it wonโ€™t give you that lean and toned and muscular look that most people desire.โœ…

The best option is the combination of dieting and strength training and even a bit of cardio for those who work hard. Strength training allows you to build or retain muscle mass, really giving you that lean toned and athletic look. Having more muscle mass also means having a higher metabolism which makes it a lot easier to STAY LEAN!๐Ÿš€
