Salt & Pepper Crispy Chicken Kit
Ingredients:
1 YO! Salt & Pepper Crispy Chicken Kit
2 large chicken breasts
1 egg
½ red bell pepper
½ white onion
Drizzle of oil
Small bunch of parsley
Small bunch of spring onions
Pinch of sesame seeds

Method:
Cut the chicken breasts into medium pieces and mix with a beaten egg until fully coated.
Roll each piece in the kit’s breadcrumbs, ensuring even coverage.
Place the chicken in an air fryer, leaving space between pieces. Cook at 190°C for 13–15 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
Dice the onion and bell pepper, then fry in a little oil until soft and lightly caramelised.
Slice the parsley and spring onions finely.
Toss the cooked chicken with the fried vegetables and the gochujang sauce from the kit.
Serve in a bowl and garnish with parsley, spring onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.


Japanese Style Sweet & Sour Crispy Chicken Kit
Ingredients:
1 YO! Japanese Style Sweet & Sour Crispy Chicken Kit
2 large chicken breasts
1 egg
Small bunch of parsley
Small bunch of spring onions
1 red chilli
Pinch of sesame seeds

Method:
Cut the chicken breasts into medium pieces and mix with a beaten egg until fully coated.
Roll each piece in the kit’s breadcrumbs, ensuring even coverage.
Place the chicken in an air fryer, leaving space between pieces. Cook at 190°C for 13–15 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
Slice the parsley, spring onions and red chilli finely.
Toss the cooked chicken with the sweet & sour sauce from the kit.
Serve in a bowl and garnish with parsley, spring onions, red chilli and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

This is your sign to make katsu curry at home. 🍛

Check out our YO! at home range and discover more sauces, meals and recipes than you chan shake a chopstick at. 🥢

Ingredients (serves 2):
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 spring onions (greens)
- 2 small carrots, peeled
- 1/2 a cucumber
- panko breadcrumbs
- plain flower
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 YO! katsu curry sauce sachet
- 200ml water
- oil for frying (approx 1cm deep)
- 120g uncooked rice
- 180ml water

Method:
1. Pour the oil into your pan and set it over a medium heat so it can warm up while you prep.
2. Butterfly the chicken breasts so they’re even in thickness and season with salt & pepper.
3. Pour the flour, panko breadcrumbs and beaten egg into three separate bowls.
4. Bread the chicken by coating it in the flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
5. Wash the rice to remove excess starch.
6. Add the rice and 180ml water to a saucepan, cover with a lid and set over a medium-low heat (about 10 minutes).
7. Once the oil is hot (around 180°C), carefully lay the chicken into the pan away from you to avoid splashing, and fry for around 5 minutes until golden.
8. While the chicken cooks, use a peeler to create thin ribbons of carrot and cucumber and set aside.
9. Thinly slice the spring onions lengthways and place them in ice water so they curl (optional).
10. Once the chicken is golden on the first side, turn it over and cook for a further 3 minutes until cooked through.
11. At this point, check the rice, turn the heat right down and leave a small gap for steam to escape. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
12. While the rice and chicken finish cooking, mix the YO! katsu curry sauce sachet with 200ml water and bring to a gentle simmer.
13. Once the rice is fully cooked, turn off the heat and keep covered until ready to serve.
14. When the chicken is done, place it on kitchen paper to remove any excess oil.
15. To serve, add rice and sauce to a bowl, top with the sliced chicken, then finish with the carrot and cucumber ribbons and a garnish of spring onion.

1. Katsu Curry Crispy Chicken Kit

You’ll need:
YO! Katsu Curry Crispy Chicken Kit, 2 chicken breasts, 1 egg, ½ cucumber, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, chilli oil, salt & pepper.
How to make it:
Coat chicken pieces in beaten egg, then in the kit breadcrumbs. Air fry at 190°C for 13–15 mins until crispy.
Chop (or smash) cucumber and toss with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, chilli oil, salt and pepper.
Drizzle over the katsu curry sauce or serve on the side. Plate up and enjoy.

2. Korean Style Crispy Chicken Kit

You’ll need:
YO! Korean Style Crispy Chicken Kit, 2 chicken breasts, 1 egg, 1 small carrot, coriander, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, salt & pepper.
How to make it:
Coat chicken in egg, then breadcrumbs. Air fry at 190°C for 13–15 mins.
Peel carrot into ribbons, chop coriander, and toss with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, salt and pepper.
Drizzle with the sweet chilli curry sauce or serve as a dip. Enjoy!

If you're coming from central London and wish to use public transport, take the District line towards Upminster and get off at Hornchurch station. From there, take bus 248 towards Cranham Park and get off at Hornchurch Road/Suttons Avenue stop. Walk straight ahead for about 2 minutes and you'll reach your destination on the left side of the road.

If you're driving from central London, take the A13 towards Dagenham and continue onto the A125 (Rainham Road). Keep following this road until you reach Suttons Lane roundabout. Take the first exit onto Hornchurch Road (A124) and drive for another 10 minutes until you reach your destination on your right-hand side. There is limited roadside parking available nearby but it's recommended to park in a nearby car park (such as The Mercury Mall car park) and walk to Romford Extra.
