What people say
If you're looking for a restaurant that offers delicious Asian cuisine, then wagamama on Great Marlborough Street in London is definitely worth checking out. With its convenient location just around the corner from the famous Carnaby Street and Oxford Circus tube station, it's easy to get to and now even offers take-out options.
One of the standout dishes on their menu is the wok-fried greens 2.0, which has been recently refreshed with crunchy tenderstem broccoli, fine beans, and mangetout all cooked in a flavourful garlic and soy sauce. It's perfect as a side dish or can be added to any teppan dish for an extra veggie kick.
Another must-try dish is their prawn nori rolls. These succulent prawns are wrapped in nori with freshly pickled Asian slaw and served with a sticky red chilli and miso sauce. The addition of sriracha vegan mayonnaise and coriander cress takes this dish to the next level.
And let's not forget about their classic dishes like crispy chilli mushrooms, which are coated and fried oyster mushrooms dusted with red pepper powder and served with a chilli and coriander dipping sauce. Plus, they've recently added four new cocktails inspired by the flavours of Asia, including a pandan passion fruit colada, miso sparkling sake, a sake spritz, and a Thai chilli margarita.
If you're looking for something more substantial, try their bright new koyo bowls featuring your choice of salmon, chicken or eggplant drenched in a sticky red chilli and miso sauce served on a bed of mixed leaves with vibrant beetroot, carrot and more.
Overall, wagamama on Great Marlborough Street is definitely worth visiting if you're looking for delicious Asian cuisine in London. Their menu is constantly evolving with exciting new dishes that will keep you coming back for more.
