Folc’s Pinot Noir Rosé, produced and bottled in England, is the perfect accompaniment for the English summer… best enjoyed in your nearest Fuller’s garden. As part of our English Wine Month celebrations, you can buy a small glass of any English Wine for £7.50 throughout June.

Plus, working with brands such as .folc – who have developed more lightweight packaging while working hard to promote soil health and biodiversity as part of their winemaking philosophy – means we can offer you delicious wine that has less impact on the planet.

The weather may have missed the memo, but summer is officially here ☀️🍺

A little sunshine for a not-so-summery day.

Pouring from 5pm today, Golden Times is our new collaboration brew with St Austell; a bright, refreshing golden ale packed with tropical notes and brewed for easy summer sipping.

It’s the sort of pint best enjoyed with good company, whatever the forecast may have in store.

And let’s be honest, if we’re not getting golden times outside, we might as well enjoy them in a glass.

Every corner of The Vic has a story to tell.

This old sign is a reminder of a different time, when food service finished at 2:30pm and dinner didn’t begin until later in the day. Thankfully, we’ve moved on a little since then and now serve food throughout the day!

It’s lovely to have these little pieces of history around the pub, each one a reminder of the many people, memories and moments that have helped shape The Victoria into what it is today 🍻

After an emotional weekend saying goodbye to Chris and Helen, we’d like to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate and share so many wonderful memories.

For many years, they have been at the heart of The Victoria, helping to create the warm, welcoming pub that so many of us know and love today.

While it marks the end of an era, The Vic remains The Vic. The values, character and sense of community that Chris and Helen helped build are still very much at the heart of everything we do. Their impact on this pub will not be forgotten, and they will always be a part of The Vic’s story and history.

As a team, we’re proud to continue their legacy and remain committed to making The Victoria the special place it has always been.

Thank you for your continued support. While one chapter has come to an end, there are many more stories to write, memories to make and moments to share at The Vic, and we look forward to welcoming you for all of them 🍻💛

A little heads up that tomorrow we’ll be closed to the public from 3pm as we celebrate Chris’ leaving party 🍻

After so many years behind the bar at The Victoria, we’d love to send Chris and Helen off surrounded by friends, family, colleagues and the familiar faces who have been part of the journey along the way.

This photo captures a rare quiet moment in the pub — and while the bar may look empty here, it’s our hearts that will feel a little emptier as we say goodbye to two people who have been such a huge part of this place for so many years 💛

Our team will be on hand throughout the afternoon and evening to help guide guests as everyone arrives.

Thank you so much for your understanding, and we look forward to raising a glass together tomorrow 🍻

Somehow it doesn’t feel possible that this is Chris’ last quiz night after 26 years at The Victoria.

For years, Tuesday nights have meant hearing Chris on the mic and a pub full of laughs, familiar faces and memories that a lot of us will genuinely keep for a very long time.

Join us tomorrow from 8:30pm for one final quiz night with the most famous person in Paddington 🍻

We have a feeling this one’s going to be a special one.

What people say

Located in the charming Strathearn Place in London, The Victoria, Paddington is a historic pub that exudes elegance and character. Built around the same time as Paddington Station in 1838, this establishment has a rich history that adds to its allure.

Legend has it that Queen Victoria herself stopped by The Victoria on her way to Paddington Station, leading to the pub being named in her honor and adorned with a grand style. Over the years, The Victoria has attracted a diverse array of patrons, including butlers from the surrounding large houses, literary figures like Charles Dickens who found inspiration within its walls, and even modern-day celebrities such as Liam Gallagher and Keira Knightley.

The pub's upstairs rooms have been transformed by theatrical types post-World War II, creating a unique ambiance that blends history with contemporary flair. With its cozy atmosphere and friendly service, The Victoria offers a quintessential London pub experience that has earned it the title of Time Out London’s Most Loved Pub in Paddington & Bayswater.

Whether you're looking for a casual drink or a spot to soak up some local history, The Victoria, Paddington is sure to delight with its charm and timeless appeal.
