We are quite used to 1 stars when it comes to TripAdvisor reviews but not when it comes to michelin chefs.

Every year we use this sell out event as a benchmark of how far we’ve come - he’s been Game Chef of the year for THREE YEARS ffs and he still wants to cook with us?!? Welcome Home (Sir, in our book) Mark Kempson.

This year it’s sesame duck toast with coriander chutney. It’s buttermilk rabbit schnitzel with Autumn slaw. It’s blackened piri piri partridge (without a silly little flag). It’s an utterly RIDICULOUS menu for 2026.

6 courses of the Best British Game cooked by the Best Game Chef this country has to offer.

Both sites on the same night (he’s that talented even though I sh*t myself on the back of his motorbike when we go between the sites).

So we started a little thing at the end of dinner where we ask guests to write down the last thing they have done to make someone happy.

The idea was to spread a bit of love in the world but this weekend somebody set out to mock and hurt us.

We as a community should be looking after each other better than this. I hope whatever this guy is going through that he is able to work it out because it’s just really quite sad.

If we had a posh clip on microphone and £1,200 a month spare to pay for someone to do our social media videos they might actually look half decent and you’d be able to hear the crunch.

We don’t - Kyle cut it by the table next to the window mid service and I forgot to turn the country music off.

New brunch dish. It tastes better than the video looks.

Shhhhhh 🤫

You’re no doubt familiar with our party central private mezzanine in Putney but few people realise that we have a little hideaway behind the sliding doors in Barnes. (Not like the one from love island… the absolute scenes in Barnes if that was the case)

Perfect for more intimate dinners of 10 to 30 people, you can pull over the door and have all your favourite people in one room - until Sam (first pic ffs) comes in to top up your w**e. He’s my least favourite person sometimes.

Big birthday coming up? Celebrating the anniversary of the death of your butler? We know you’ve all got one Barnes, stop pretending.

E-mail [email protected] and our dedicated events team will look after you (we can’t afford one, it’s me).

F**k me, we found a sous chef.

Well, two in fact.

I can’t explain how much money we have spent this year on indeed, caterer, job today, agencies, paper for the front shop window. It’s yielded sweet FA.

Speaking of FA, England looked more likely to win the World Cup than we did finding a Sous Chef. (Yes I know Scotland got a bank holiday for beating Haiti and then didn’t make it out of the groups again. It’s s**te being Scottish)

But thanks to you lot sharing the post we’ve never had more applicants for a position, ever.

So much so we took on two… Alex (pictured) as Junior Sous and David as Sous (starts next week). They can both cook. They both have got their s**t together (well as much as any of us do in this industry) and they both want to be part of this.

Massive thanks for the brilliant write up from Kieren Kieren McCarthy about this. Link in bio and sums up Home more eloquently than I ever could.

Might start up an agency now. People make home ❤️

These players ❤️

When Alex Ferguson retired after his last title, he left United with an aging team and for many, their best days were behind them.

Not at Home. I’m not on the floor as much anymore (unless we are in the s**t for a Saturday brunch) and it’s probably a good thing because this new guard are sharper, slicker and more dangerous with a booking sheet and guest notes than I ever was. (Utkarsh was off playing cricket on his first evening off…ever)

Thank-you locals for putting us up to fight with the big dogs yet again. Three years back to back must mean we as a community in a little pocket of SW London are doing something right.

We’re not just in the top 100 this year Putney, we are in the top 50 ;)

What people say

Home SW15 is a restaurant located on Upper Richmond Road in London that offers serious food and drink created by playful people. The restaurant has been making waves on social media with their innovative ideas and delicious dishes. Their French Toast, for example, is made with sourdough instead of brioche, which soaks up all the eggy cinnamon mix better, making it crispy on the outside and wet on the inside. They then add full-fat yogurt, berries, candied pecans, cashews & hazelnuts before finishing it off with a bucket of maple syrup. Home SW15 also recently held a competition where the lucky winner won a three-course Beef Wellington lunch for two and a bottle of proper spenny red on a Sunday of their choice. With its playful atmosphere and serious food and drink offerings, Home SW15 is definitely worth checking out!
