It has been extremely difficult for us to accept that The Gurkhas had to close. Nothing goes according to plan sometimes, and despite best efforts, it is increasingly becoming more challenging and difficult for us and also for the whole industry.
While The Gurkhas had to close, unfortunately, we are determined to work harder and come back in the near future. We have learnt a lot despite many obstacles, and we have also enjoyed and had a lot of valuable good moments, which we will always be grateful for.
And we are always truly thankful for everyone who has supported and wished us well until now. Thank you so much!
As this chapter has closed, we are hopeful and excited to begin a new chapter with a positive outlook. We are pleased to announce the change of concept to Wagyu N Sushi, at the former Gurkhas location on 110 Great Portland Street. The restaurant is just a short 5-minute walk from both Oxford Street Station and Great Portland Street Station.
We hope that you'll support our newly changed concept Wagyu N Sushi. This Week, we are giving you 50% off the Wagyu N Sushi food menu. Simply quote ’50 opening’ when booking online from our website.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Nepali cuisine is incomplete without its pickles or achar, commonly served as a side dish or condiment. It is known for its tangy and spicy flavour and often used to add a burst of flavour to meals. Fermented foods are packed with live cultures, beneficial bacteria and yeast that are not only good for our gut health but also immune system.
Mula ko Achaar is one of the homeliest types of pickle. It is spicy, sour, pungent and simply irresistible. Try our homemade mula ko achar at . We are also proud to be supporting , donating 50p from every Gurkha pickle sold to aid Gurkha veterans, their families and communities. 🙏
