We are proud to once again host North London Hospice ’s Forever in Our Hearts event on 16th June 2026, with this year’s theme, Butterfly Reflections.
For a donation, you can dedicate a beautifully handcrafted stainless-steel butterfly in memory of a loved one, personalised with a name or special message. Throughout June, the butterflies will be displayed in the tranquil surroundings of our gardens before being returned to you as a lasting keepsake.
Every dedication helps support the invaluable work of North London Hospice, while creating a meaningful tribute to someone special.

Our first Summer BBQ Series kicks off this Friday, 4th June from 6–9pm. Spend a relaxing evening exploring the Beale Arboretum before heading back to the terrace for live music and a delicious BBQ menu, including harissa lamb flatbread, a lobster and crayfish roll, Korean chicken bao, and Beales beef or halloumi burgers with rosemary fries and salad (food not included in the ticket price). A £10 deposit per adult is taken at booking and goes towards your food and drinks on the night.

Another Saturday of wall‑to‑wall sunshine across our beautiful terrace and arboretum. Join Andrew Beale for our next guided Arboretum Tour at West Lodge Park on Wednesday 3rd June. Join us at Beale Arboretum on Sunday 17th May 2026 for our Spring Garden Open Day from 2.00pm to 5.00pm to enjoy the trees and shrubs in beautiful spring colour. Guided tours will be available throughout the afternoon with no need to book, all in support of the National Garden Scheme and charities including MacMillan Nurses. We always say it, but spring really does suit West Lodge Park. The gardens are full of colour again and the terrace is the perfect place to sit with a cocktail, enjoy the view and make the most of the longer days.
Weekends are all about easy breakfasts, long lunches outside and early suppers as the light fades. Sundays mean the return of our much‑loved roast, and it usually sells out, so booking ahead is a good shout.

Our next Arboretum Tour takes place on 13th May and it’s a lovely chance to explore the Beale Arboretum with Andrew Beale as your guide. Enjoy a relaxed walk through the grounds, then choose between lunch beforehand or English afternoon tea afterwards in the Mary Beale Restaurant.
