The same corner of York St we’ve called home since 1807. Georgian windows, a full bar, and usually a dog under someone’s table.
We might be biased, but we think we’re the best pub in Central London.
Pop in and tell us what you think ☺️👋

Introducing Steak Night at The Oak 🥩
We’re excited to bring you a new special menu on Wednesday nights from 9th September - a menu entirely dedicated to different cuts of steak.
All steaks come from native-breed, grass-fed beef, sourced by HG Walter from small British farms and dry-aged for up to 90 days in a Himalayan salt chamber — with different cuts rotating regularly.
With every steak ordered, guests can enjoy 25% off full bottles of wine.
Every bottle on the wine list has been hand-picked by our sommelier, Emma Robinson, from a mix of small independent growers and some of the world’s most revered names - it’s a chance to try something really special with your dinner.
The steak menu will run alongside our full à la carte
