Our beloved community has faced an incredibly challenging time over the past few years. The pandemic, inflation, and more recently, the tragic incidents of violence, including the recent shooting, have taken a heavy toll on us all. It's heartbreaking to see local shops and restaurants, the lifeblood of our neighborhood, struggling to survive with customers drying out.
Despite the lack of sufficient action from local authorities, the strength and resilience of Catford's people shine through. We have a rich and diverse culinary scene, filled with family-owned restaurants and shops that bring warmth and flavor to our community.
Now, more than ever, we need to stand together and support each other. Instead of heading to restaurants in neighboring areas, let's choose to dine and shop locally. By supporting our local businesses, we can help them through these serious existential problems and keep Catford vibrant and thriving.
Let’s show some love to the wonderful establishments that make our community unique. Together, we can overcome these challenges and ensure that Catford remains a great place to live, work, and enjoy life.
