Wow wow wow. Such a fab feature for ButterNut of London in The Telegraph. ๐
Huge thanks to and for including us in
So much time, care and flavour goes into every jar, so itโs especially exciting to see our small batch nut butters recognised next to the bigger brands!
The article is behind a paywall, but we have 10 gift links to share - DM us if youโd like one. โจ

This International Womenโs Day, make it delicious. ๐
I built ButterNut of London out of my mild nut butter and design obsession.
This IWD youโll find us in-store at across London for the activation.
Look for the Buy Women Built mark and pop those products in your basket. Itโs a small act with a big ripple ๐ฅโจ
Also Coconut Cardamom Cashew Butter exists. Youโre welcome. ๐๐ฅ

Thank You and .
For featuring our Rose & Pistachio in
Totally honoured to be included and in such good company. ๐๐ฅ
Good packaging matters.
When I worked with to redesign ButterNut after winning the Seed Fund in 2020, my brief was simple:
Make it so beautiful and intriguing that people would stop, pick it up, want to own it and proudly leave it out on the kitchen counter (front and centre).
It had to be chic but slightly quirky.
Pay homage to London without tipping into kitsch.
And Iโd been quietly obsessed with โs line-drawn illustrations long before we ever worked together.
I think we can safely say they nailed it. ๐คฉ

Weโre open at Borough Market every day until 3pm on Christmas Eve, keeping the nut butters flowing.
Come for the stocking fillers.
Stay because youโve talked yourself into a jar of Maple Turmeric Cashew

Borough Market at Christmas is its own kind of magic.
Hot mulled wine ๐ท, freshly baked bread ๐ฅ, mountains of cheese ๐ง, and John handing out nut butter samples like a man on a mission ๐ฅโจ
If youโve never visited us here, this little carousel is a peek at what itโs like: stacks of jars, oodles of tasters, bad jokes, good company and the kind of gifting that doesnโt get regifted.
So whether youโre choosing something for someone you adore, a Secret Santa, treating yourself or anything in between, youโre always welcome at our Borough stall.
Come for the samples, stay for John, leave with something dangerously delicious.
And if you're visiting soonโฆ we promise to laugh at your jokes too. (Probably.) ๐

This oneโs extra special.
Itโs unboxed by my friend Ollie, mastermind behind the amazing indie perfume house . Her talent for scent and beauty usually goes into perfume, not nut butter.
Maybe it is time for a crossover.
After months of design tweaks, a print test or three and a fair bit of impatient waiting, our new mailer box is finally out in the wild.
Itโs beautifully made.
Stylishly illustrated.
And designed to make opening your nut butter feel like an extraordinarily delicious moment - before you even hit the jar.
Watching someone you love open something youโve poured your heart into? Thatโs the real treat.
Then seeing them reach for thick-cut bread and go in generously? Even better.
If youโve got a box on the way, I hope it brings you the same joy it gives me to send it. ๐

The final chapter behind the scenes.
Labels on, lids gleaming, boxes packed. Our ROSE & PISTACHIO jars are ready to begin their journey out into the world.
From our kitchen to your cupboard, each one carries a little bit of London and a whole lot of taste. ๐๐คค

Ever felt stuck working in your business instead of on it? If so, this oneโs for you.
This box spent years on the back burner while everything else shouted louder for my time and the businessโs money. There was always something more โurgentโ than a beautiful mailer box.
I finally made space to create this gorgeous box just over a year ago and Iโm so frigging glad I did.
If any of that sounds familiar, swipe through and come behind the scenes. This is a love letter to slow projects, perseverance, and making things youโre proud to send out into the world. ๐

The pistachio one hit the hardest, its flavor perfectly understated.โ
What a way to start the dayโฆ a Google alert revealing that our Rose & Pistachio butter has been featured on the website!
A heartfelt thank you to for stopping by our stall at and for the beautifully written piece. Weโre utterly delighted (and yes, just a little giddy) to be featured, especially when it comes as the loveliest surprise.
ButterNut of London is making waves on both sides of the pond.

ROSE & PISTACHIO Behind the scenes: part II
Thereโs something deeply satisfying about watching the jars fill.
The gentle hmm and putt-putt of the machinery as the warm ROSE & PISTACHIO butter flows smoothly into each jar. Glossy and rich, the perfect pour.
This is where precision meets pleasure and it has a mesmerising allure.

What people say
ButterNut of London is a food stall that has taken the Borough Market by storm. They offer handmade, small-batch nutty feasts with daring flavours and big ideals. Their award-winning nut butters are made from ethically sourced organic ingredients that are vegan, free from palm oil, refined sugar and gluten.
What sets ButterNut apart is their commitment to sourcing all of their ingredients from organic and sustainable farmers. They believe in transparency and want to change the way people think about where their food comes from. Their nut butters are not only delicious but also ethical.
The founder of ButterNut started small, selling at farmers markets around London on the weekends before outgrowing her home kitchen. She worked for almost a year for free, two days a week, for a catering company in Tooting just to use their professional kitchen during evenings and weekends to make her nut butters. This determination and passion for her craft is evident in every jar of ButterNut's nut butter.
If you're looking for something luxurious and innovative, ButterNut of London is definitely worth checking out at Borough Market or online.
