Back in 2018, we started blending Indian speciality robusta into our coffee. Quietly. No fanfare, just belief in its flavour and its place in coffee’s future.
That quiet decision has grown into something we’re proud to share.

This isn’t an ordinary product launch. It’s about listening to the land, not just the market.
It’s about how speciality coffee can look and taste different. Without bias. That’s who we are, and who we’ve always been, as the UK’s only Indian-origin focused roaster.🙌🏾

Best Sustainable Shop 2025 at the London Coffee Festival 🙌🏾🌱☕️
Big love to everyone who voted and to the industry judges who thought we were worthy. We honestly didn’t think we stood a chance (Ozone and Climpson & Sons were in the running!) so we didn’t even go to the awards😅. But thanks to our trophy’s in the post! 📫
We are nowhere near perfect but we show up every day and try. To do right by our farm partners, by our planet, by our team, and by you.💪🏾
This win definitely isn’t the end... it’s the beginning. A push to do even better.🪄
Someday we'll write that book about building a truly sustainable business - socially, environmentally and financially 📝 For now, we'll keep doing what we do...one cup, one choice, one impact at a time.🌿

More coffee bought = MORE IMPACT! (And yes, that's our official permission to order that extra cup!)
Did you know that for every cup of coffee bought, we give a day's clean-water 💦 access to families in Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee?
But our giving doesn't stop there!
We proudly support the ♀️Keeping Girls in School♀️ project, providing reproductive health education and dignity kits to help girls stay in school even during their periods. This initiative prevents harmful practices like child marriage and FGC while empowering entire communities✊🏽.
Projects like these align with 2 close to our heart💛

This small yet mighty shop of ours in West Wickham has stirred connections, fuelled mornings, and created a warm space for comfort and shared stories.
An year ago we dared to open right between the giants (👋🏽Costa, Nero, Greggs) with a bigger mission: ethical beans, meaningful impact. The high street hustle isn’t easy. A whirlwind of lessons—but we’re still here, grounded in purpose and community.🙌🏽
To our regulars and newcomers, thank you for turning our first chapter into a story worth brewing. By skipping the corporate caffeine giants and sipping with us instead, you’ve not only saved your soul from “basic chain coffee” purgatory—you’ve also become a caffeine-powered superhero. 😎✨

👋🏽 Have you spotted our new mono-material retail packaging yet? 👀
We're making a thoughtful switch from compostable to mono-material packaging, and we want to share why! Since day one, we've been committed to plastic-free solutions, but here's what we've learned along the way:
1. 🤔 Composting Reality Check: Despite our early commitment to compostable materials, we've faced a challenging truth - composting infrastructure hasn't kept pace. Most of our compostable packaging was likely ending up in landfills due to limited processing facilities.
2. 🦸♀️ Mono-Material Evolution: After careful research, we're embracing mono-material packaging - a truly recyclable solution that works with existing infrastructure. It's designed for maximum recyclability since it's made from a single material type.
3. 🎡 Circular Economy Champion: These materials can be recycled multiple times, creating a genuine closed-loop system that reduces waste and supports true circularity.
4. 💧 Resource Efficient: Our new mono-material packaging has a lower water footprint compared to compostable alternatives.
5. 🚗 Reduced Transportation Impact: By using materials that can be processed locally, we're cutting down transportation emissions associated with specialized processing facilities.
This shift represents our ongoing commitment to finding the most effective sustainable solutions, even when that means adapting our approach as we learn more.

Historically, sexual violence has been used as a weapon of war during Guatemala's 36-year internal armed conflict.😔⠀⠀

Hundreds of women in the Guatemala City garbage dump live in isolation experiencing astronomical rates of gender-based violence without the opportunity to access services. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Our charity partner Creamos provides therapy sessions through which women are provided with basic knowledge about characteristics of intimate partner (IPV) and gender-based violence (GBV).⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The therapy helps them identify violence in their own lives, families and community; and increases their understanding of women’s rights and gender-based violence laws.⠀⠀
