When Rob took over the Lord Napier, he made sure it would stay a work of art forever. He made sure it was literally baked it into the planning application.

With Teddy’s help, the exterior of our pub has encapsulated our creative community, featuring some mega street artists such as Sweet Toof, Tizer, Phlegm and Teddy himself.

How the Lord Napier was brought back to life.

For over two decades, our beloved Lord Napier Star was an empty derelict space. Inside it hosted squat parties and raves and was legendary in underground circles. On the outside it became a blank canvas for local artists. Since taking over the space in 2021 Rob’s done up the inside, but we’ve always tried to preserve the graffiti on the outside.

To get to White Post Lane in London using public transport, take the train to Hackney Wick station or the bus to Carpenters Road. From there, walk towards White Post Lane and you will see the pub on your left.

If driving, you can park at the Westfield Stratford City shopping center car park and walk for about 15 minutes to reach White Post Lane. Alternatively, there are street parking options nearby but be sure to check local parking regulations.

Note that these travel directions may apply to other locations on White Post Lane as well.
