A THIEF’S PENANCE (a poem for Passyunk Ave)
A drunken dare
A foolish choice
Too much laughter
Too much noise
I took your hand
I feel the shame
Tequila is the one to blame
So here it is
Returned with care
My apology enclosed in here
No harm was meant
Just one bad night
Please accept my apology
And set things right
(Sorry again. I panicked the second I woke up. I’m clearly not destined for a life of Mannequin crime!)

When people have a few drinks, sometimes it brings out their worst impulses.
We’re no stranger to theft. Break ins, walk outs, the infamous SWOOPhead incident.
Most recently somebody stole a hand from one of the Union Jack Classic mannequins in our Waterloo Play bar.
We chalked it up to another frustrating experience, but look what came in the mail, enclosed with an apology in the form of poem!
Whoever you are, thank you for doing the right thing... Eventually. You are forgiven. For posterity, we have shared your apology and bless you with +4 moral fibre.
It’s a Tequila Tuesday Miracle. Possibly also a Tequila Tuesday problem by the sounds of it. 🍋🟩

Waterloo will be showing:
June 13th 2 AM – USA VS Paraguay
June 14th 2 AM – Scotland VS Haiti
June 26th 3 AM – USA VS Türkiye
And of course we’ll be showing every game during the Final stages.

To get to the location near New Union Square, you can take the Tube to the nearest station and walk from there. The closest station is Southwark Station on the Jubilee Line, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can take the bus and get off at the stop near New Union Square.
If you are driving, there are several parking options nearby. There is a car park located on Greet Street, just a few minutes' walk from New Union Square. Another option is to use street parking in the surrounding area, although availability may be limited.
