A new standout starter on our a la carte - Austell Bay mussels smoked in-house with a mixture of apple wood and oak, then cooked in Mariniere sauce. Served with chestnuts and tempura Shiso, a Japanese herb also known as Beefsteak leaf, which adds a strong, citrussy freshness with hints of cinnamon, cloves and mint.

French toast fit for Boxing Day brunch. Thick slices of homemade brioche soaked in a mixture of butter, egg and milk, then cooked until golden brown. Served with mixed berries, a dollop of fluffy Chantilly Cream and a good drizzle of maple syrup, of course.

For public transport, take the Northern Line or Circle Line to Old Street Station. From there, walk south on City Road and turn left onto Great Eastern Street.

For driving/parking, from the A201 (City Road), turn onto Leonard Street and then take a right onto Tabernacle Street. Continue straight until you reach Great Eastern Street and turn left. There is paid parking available on the street or nearby carparks.
