Chef makes chocolates for all sorts of reasons. Some to pair with coffee, some with whisk(e)y, occasionally he just makes them as experiments. What they all have in common though, is technique. He says it is imperative to ensure that your tempering is up to scratch. You can tell whether it was a job well done or not before you even take a bite, by looking at how they shine. These beauties look like they’ve been polished with furniture polish! I promise they haven’t!!! They taste even better than they look, too: Lemon Meringue Pie.

Chef has been having a pretty rough time of things lately. Thank goodness then for who managed to brighten up his day yesterday by sending out this lovely little number. Amazon then let themselves down by not offering a suitable frame, but who needs a frame when you have the 18th best restaurant in the UK?

To get to Blenheim Terrace in London, take the Tube to the Belsize Park station and exit onto Haverstock Hill. Walk northwest on Haverstock Hill towards Belsize Grove for about six minutes, then turn right onto Belsize Avenue. Continue on this road until you reach Blenheim Terrace.

If you're driving, there is limited street parking available in the area. Alternatively, there is a car park located at nearby Swiss Cottage with easy access to Blenheim Terrace via public transport or a 10-15 minute walk.
