🐾 Blade here.
The World Cup was great fun. Lots of cheering, plenty of singing and carrying on, and more people dropping me little bits of attention than usual. I approved. Mostly.
But if I’m being honest... I’m much more suited to the more relaxed side of pub life.
My happy place is stretched out in a sunny spot in the b**r garden, curled up in my favourite armchair, or quietly supervising the staff to make sure everyone is happy and following my protocols. It’s a very important job.
So if you’re popping in for a pint this week, do come and say hello. I accept gentle fusses, admiring glances, and compliments about my magnificent floof.
Dogs are welcome too... as long as everyone remembers whose pub this really is! 😼🍺🐶
Meow for now,
– Blade 🖤

From The Scolt Head to Scolt Head. 🚲
Many of you know Luka.
For nearly ten years, he’s been part of The Scolt Head family as our sous-chef. So when he heard the story of how our pub got its name, he decided to do something pretty special...
He cycled almost 200km from Hackney to Scolt Head Island in Norfolk, the beautiful stretch of coastline that inspired our name.
This is his journey, and a little reminder of why Scolt Head means so much to us. ❤️
