Well, we’re blushing a little over here! 😊
A big huge thank you to the legend that is Dr Chris van Tulleken for giving The Scolt Head and our wonderful sister restaurant Sweet Thursday, a shout-out in his My London interview with The Standard.
Chris reckons Sweet Thursday makes some of the best pizza in London (possibly the world!), and has The Scolt down as the perfect place to finish a first date. We couldn’t agree more. 🥰
It’s always lovely to see our little corner of De Beauvoir getting some love, especially from someone who knows and loves the neighbourhood as much as we do.

🍻 From a pint at The Scolt to one of the highest lakes in the world! ⛵
We’ve always maintained that the best adventures begin with a good pint and a slightly ridiculous conversation down the pub.
Well, here’s the proof.
What started as a drink and a chat at The Scolt Head turned into a wonderfully British quest to sail one of the highest lakes on the planet. Because apparently a perfectly ordinary sailing trip just wouldn’t do.
We absolutely LOVE this. ❤️
There’s something rather special about a pub being the birthplace of big ideas, unlikely friendships and gloriously ambitious adventures.
We’re very proud to have played a tiny part in this one, even if all we did was pour the drinks.
So here’s to good company, wild ideas and the conversations that start with “Wouldn’t it be funny if...” and somehow end up halfway around the world.
You never know where a pint at The Scolt might take you. 🍺🌍

Yes, it’s Tuesday. Yes, I reserved myself a seat at the bar. Yes, I’m drinking milk from a shot glass. And no, I don’t think I owe anyone an explanation.
Some of us have had a very demanding start to the week. Windowsills to occupy, staff to supervise, customers to charm. It’s exhausting being this magnificent.
