We’ve heard of girl dinner. But girl breakfast? This is our blueprint.

Whisked matcha and a thick slice of our signature banana bread with unadulterated salted hokey pokey butter. One earthy and energising, the other soft, buttery, and just sweet enough to feel like a reward. Its our signature for good reason and will never the leave the menu, we promise.

Latte art looks deceptively easy. A steady hand, perfectly textured milk, and suddenly you’ve got a swan or if you’re not one of our trained baristas, something that looks vaguely recognisable.

In the spirit of healthy competition, we handed the milk jugs to the entire team, not just the coffee pros. The results? A mixed bag of abstract art and a few designs that are still open to interpretation.

All poured with enthusiasm. Some poured with actual skill.

Wednesdays have always needed a rebrand. Mid-week, what? Introducing Steak night at The Laundry.

Bank Holiday Monday. Mel doesn’t leave anything to chance.

One minute you’re innocently bending down to rescue a fallen cocktail. The next? You’ve got a reservation. Mel’s walk-in strategy is simple: quick reflexes, impeccable timing, and a sixth sense for spotting anyone even thinking about ‘just one drink.’

Because at The Laundry, walk-ins aren’t found. They’re claimed. See you this Bank Holiday Monday. If you make it past Mel.

Perfection, neatly tucked between two buns.
Watch as the soft, pillowy brioche gives way to something much more substantial. This is a bap that doesn’t just ask for your attention, it demands it. It’s thick, it’s juicy, and it’s dripping with the kind of flavour that makes you lose all self-control. It is our intention to seduce you with sultry commentary, and we hope it works. Available 7 days a week until 3pm.

Tell the truth: Chinese Duck Pancakes make memories, no?

The chaos of building the perfect duck pancake, the sticky hoisin, and that rich, 5-spice hit. It’s the ultimate flavour overload. This dish is a celebration of that nostalgia, just minus the DIY rolling.

5-spiced duck confit lifted with fresh fennel and cucumber, and finished with liquorice-macerated cherries.

It’s sweet, it’s savoury, and it’s slightly chaotic in the best way possible. Basically, it’s your childhood favourite, grown up and executed to perfection. It starts elegant… and ends with you scraping the plate.

Poaching an egg is a high-stakes game of whirlpools, vinegar ratios, and timing. Most people can fry an egg in their sleep, but poaching? That’s an at home kitchen disaster waiting to happen. It also has a lot to do with eggs, freshness, how the chickens eat (our kitchen team have done teh hard yards of egg investigation and testing all for you) And we now refer to it as complicated art... that we’ve mastered. The question is, who can guess the exact minutes and seconds we poach for? You might get a free brunch if you get it right!

We’ve officially broken up with heavy roasts. It’s brighter days, longer lunches, and food that actually feels like summer. To celebrate, we’re giving away a Summer Lunch for Two at The Laundry.

Mel and the kitchen have built the new menu around exactly that mood. Fresh seasonal plates and the kind of dishes that make you say, “Shall we just get one more?” Expect vibrant sharing plates made for the middle of the table.

Things to pass around.
Things to pick at between sips.
And the sort of long terrace lunch that starts at 1 and somehow turns into sunset.
Basically, summer dining, The Laundry way.

Ever been seduced by a Filet-O-Fish? (Don’t lie, those Golden Arches have a a way with us all). We’re still to get to the bottom of guilty pleasure being the creamy, tangy tartare or that pillowy bun or the perfectly square piece of fried fish.... our version is next level, and worth cancelling your meal prep. This is what Mondays are for.

Start your weekend with the kind of morning that doesn’t ask for much. Just a slow start, something good in a mug, and a table that quickly disappears under plates you definitely said ‘let just share.’

Silky poached eggs, the crowd favourite for a reason. No drama, no overthinking. Simple, a little cheeky, and exactly how breakfast should be.

Long tables, shared plates, and enough ‘go on, have one more’ to keep things moving. No rushing, no plans, just good food, good company, and the kind of extra day that deserves a proper lunch. Bring the group, we’ll bring the rest.

Massive announcement! 🚨
Waiheke Island just crash-landed in the heart of brixton.
🇬🇧 x 🇳🇿

This one is really hitting home and we are buzzing to to announce and launch our month-long residency with . I dont think of this as just a residency but a bridge built across 12,000 miles of ocean, from the shores of Waiheke Island to the beating heart of Brixton. It’s more than a menu change or some spirits, this collab is about bringing my NZ roots to the front door of The Laundry. This is the sun, sea, and soil of Waiheke, distilled into a glass and spiked with some of our unmistakable laundry attitude!

Waiheke distillery will not fail to impress with their award-winning gins and botanical vodkas infused with sometraditional Māori medicinal herbs, sea kelp and native Horopito pepper for a spicy kick.

The Launch (All £15 🍸)

Spirit of Waiheke G&T: Flagship gin, giant kelp, and a coastal breeze, served with skinny tonic to preserve all the flavour profiles

Horopito Mojito: Native bush pepper vodka muddled with manūka honey. Spicy, medicinal (sort of 😉)

The Waiheke Spritz: A pimped seasonal rhubarb-infused gin glow-up, spritz form

Indecent seasonal behavior... over the top, and as moreish as EVER. The seasonal menu currently striking the board at ours.

Gearing up for the season, serves you a lineup defined by a touch of recklessness and nostalgia, with dishes that pair just a little too well with pours from . Mel always says, to find greatness in a wine is understanding balance - and she tells us that this particular wine (roll in Chardonnay) hits the spot and she would bath in it if she could..... well, we’d certainly be up for that challenge!

Bone marrow, wild garlic pesto
New season grilled asparagus, gribiche & lemon
Linguine; Cornish crab, lemon & chilli £19 - seasonal
Wagyu rump 300g; Trenchmore Farm Sussex, creamy tamari peppercorn sauce

Comté, pickled red onion

We believe the weekends were made for this. Brunch at The Laundry is unhurried, a little indulgent, and best enjoyed with a second coffee (or something stronger). Plates arrive, the table fills up, and suddenly there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Come hungry, stay a while, we’ll take care of the rest.

Pistachio. Knafeh. Chaos. 🍫
Our signature chocolate mousse just got the upgrade it deserves, remaining every bit as deep, dark, and dangerous as ever but now infused with the textured, nutty crunch that’s been taking over your feed. We’ve taken the viral Dubai obsession and given it the full Laundry treatment, layering our velvet mousse with that unmistakable knafeh crunch to create something that feels entirely new. We did the heavy lifting behind the scenes to perfect the ratios, so all you have to do is break the surface and enjoy the result.

Bright, fresh, and a little bit unexpected.

Marinated beetroot, threaded and char-kissed, served with a vibrant quinoa tabbouleh and our house goddess dressing that ties it all together. Earthy, zesty, creamy, and all in one bite. Light enough for lunch, interesting enough to linger over.

Tuesday, come hungry, leave happy, and let our £15 pie take care of the rest.

You’ll be guaranteed a proper pie, golden and generous, served just how it should be. No shortcuts, no overthinking (and no short crust pastry!). Just comfort on a plate.
