So excited to share this little video of my first manufactured version of our Black Pork Curry Powder……making one of Sri Lanka’s most delicious dishes - the famous Black Pork Curry! Our curry powder was inspired by my Uncle Francis and developed by my beautiful mum! We reckon we have the world’s first ever curry powder to contain Goraka, making this a tailor made and easy way to make this authentic Sri Lankan staple! Available now to purchase through all our usual channels. Fingers crossed this powder will be also be available to purchase from in the next few weeks! Will keep you all posted!

This is a bit late….but we have been truly switching off! And now it’s almost time to switch back on to the beautiful chaos of life running a small business!
But before we do I wanted to say…Happy New Year….we hope 2025 was good to you (it was for us!) and that 2026 brings you and me both even more exciting opportunities!

And here’s how we got here…brace yourself it’s been a long journey!!!
Exactly one year ago I went to trade fair and met the Ocado world foods buyer who loved the look of our blends. I was then fortunate to be hooked up with who helped me every step of the way and was a big part of allowing me, as a tiny little producer, to make the gigantic step towards the UK’s leading online grocer! I had to quickly upskill and upscale, get a manufacturer on board and run around like a lunatic for a good few months!
But here we are, and I’m so proud to be flying the flag helping to bring Sri Lankan food products to the mainstream, to each and every one of your doors in the UK!
Thanks to my mum, a huge part of my business, helping to craft blends, and to my whole family, hubby, kids and my dad for supporting me on my journey, that’s not been easy…..But has been totally worth it! Especially for moments like these ❤️❤️❤️

Our Sri Lankan Black Pork Curry Powder has just won another star!!! It is now the proud owner of 2 Great Taste Stars! Thanks to the Great Taste Awards 2025.
But there’s a little more history to that……some of you may have seen that we already won a star on this product in July but I just knew, that it deserved more! And that something needed to change, so we changed our kitchen instructions, and won an appeal to Great Taste, and last night we joined the 2 Star gang! Only 10% won 2 stars in the 2025 Great Taste awards, and it’s amazing to see this niche Sri Lankan product take centre stage in the world of food and get the recognition bold Sri Lankan flavours deserve!
We are now so unbelievably proud to have received a 3 star in 2024 for our Sri Lankan Roasted Curry Powder, and now a 2 star in 2025……..thanks so my utterly brilliant talented mum - for this is her creation, and a first of a kind!
Here’s the judges comments - we couldn’t agree more! And keep your eyes peeled as these will be listed in a few more exciting places very soon:
A deep chocolate-coloured spice with a warm and bright aroma. The flavour builds on the palate in layers, with clean brightness and a warmth that glows and lingers. A great balance of flavours that work in unison.
A piquant smoky flavour has really enhanced the meat, and excites the palate with a tingling mouthfeel. The balance of sour and tangy notes is perfect and there is a depth to the flavours that has achieved a resounding combination of resonating notes working together to produce a delicious mix, with a lingering and lovely finish.
