This weekend come by and try one of our brand new Signature Hugo G+T’s. Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic, Elderflower Cordial, Plymouth Gin and some fresh sprigs of lemon thyme… What else can we say, we think we have found the perfect drink of summer 2026. But don’t trust us come by and try one for yourself.

Delighted to share the news that we’ve been awarded the top 3-star rating in the 2026 Food Made Good Awards by the Sustainable Restaurant Association, recognising our commitment to doing things properly. 🍃
From locally sourced, seasonal menus (think Oxfordshire-grown asparagus, Norfolk foraging, and responsibly sourced seafood) to reducing food waste, and raising over 300k for brilliant causes.

World Cup 2026 is just around the corner (50 days and counting) and we here at The Duchess of Kent have 5 tips to make sure you’re ready for it all kicking off on June 11th.
1. Make friends with the bar team
There are a lot of matches ahead. You’ll be seeing plenty of each other.
2. Get the app downloaded
No one wants to be three-deep at the bar when something happens.
3. Do a practice run
Bar > Table > Bar. No detours.
4. Choose your team wisely
And by that, we mean who you’re bringing with you.
(Strategically selecting shorter friends is entirely up to you.)
5. Don’t forget to book 🍻
We’ve got plenty of space for walk-ins, but if you fancy a table to cling onto when it all gets a bit tense… you know what to do.

Duchess Of Kent, located on Liverpool Road in Islington, is a must-visit for anyone looking for a traditional British pub experience. This real ale pub offers an impressive selection of drinks, including wines from around the world and an extensive gin collection. The food menu is equally impressive, with classic pub dishes as well as contemporary summer options. On Sundays, the pub serves up some of the best roasts in Islington, featuring locally sourced meats and bottomless yorkies.
