Our Pumpkin Spice is back, bringing together warming cinnamon, sweet pumpkin and a hint of spice in every sip. The kettle's on, the leaves are turning, and Autumn suddenly feels that little bit closer.

As we settle in for a rainy bank holiday weekend, we can’t help but reminisce about summer holidays: the fresh fruit, warm afternoons and something delicious in a glass.

This Black Forest Sour Cherry Sundae began with a simple idea: what if a spoonful of instant tea could add an unexpected layer of flavour to a classic dessert? The result is a rich chocolate and sour cherry sundae with subtle tea notes that bring depth, balance, and a whole new tasting experience.
Ingredients for the sour cherry compote:
• 1 tablespoon cornflour,
• 50ml water
• 1 tablespoon cherry liqueur e.g. Kirsch (optional)
• 300g fresh cherries, halved with the stones removed
• 80g Whittard Sour Cherry Instant Tea

Take the tube to Covent Garden station (Piccadilly line) and exit via Long Acre. Follow signs for The Marketplace, which is a covered arcade. The tea room is located inside The Marketplace.
Option 2 - Driving/Parking:
The closest car park is NCP Covent Garden (Parker Street). From there, walk east on Parker Street towards Bow St. Turn right onto Bow St and then left onto Russell St which leads directly to The Marketplace where the tea room is located. Please note that driving in central London can be busy and it may be quicker to use public transport.
