🎄Save the dates!! Our Christmas events guide is here!
We can’t wait to welcome you to RGHT Charlton House & Gardens this festive season. Join us for one of our special events, or just come to enjoy the house or for a cup of tea in Frilly’s Tea Room at Charlton House.
We have a mix of events on during November and December. More details and tickets for anything that is bookable will be shared on our website and our social channels over the coming weeks. Tickets will be available on Eventbrite either by searching for Charlton House or finding them through the individual events on the What’s On pages on greenwichheritage.org.
- November 28: Wreath making – we are adding an evening session with Prosecco this year. Come with friends and leave with an amazing wreath or table decoration.
Tickets will be available on Eventbrite.
- November 29: Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime (SEND-friendly). Led by a professional cast experienced in working with children with special needs and disabilities.
Tickets will be available on Eventbrite.
- December 5 & 6: Charton House Christmas Fair – buy some hand-crafted Christmas gifts and food and enjoy some Christmas entertainment.
Free to attend.
- Visit Father Christmas in his grotto – he will be making a special visit whilst the Christmas Fair is on.
Tickets for timed slots will be available on Eventbrite.
- December 6: An evening of ghost stories.

- December 11: Santa Paws is here! Come with your dog for a festive photography with Father Christmas.

- December 12: Storytelling with Mrs Claus is back for 2026!

The house will be decorated from the end of November.

We love summer. But there is SO much to look forward to this Autumn at RGHT Charlton House & Gardens Put these dates in your diary and look out for updates on our website as times are confirmed and tickets (where applicable) go on sale.
📆12 September – our doors are open and tours are on as part of the Open House festival. Book a guided or architectural tour through the Open House website. If you want to drop in the rooms and gardens as well as Frilly’s Tea Room at Charlton House will be open from 10am-5pm.
📆18 October – Horn Fair. This year we will be celebrating Black History month with the launch of our African Threads exhibition. Horn Fair will include African food stalls, crafts and music alongside other food and craft stalls.
📆26 October – Halloween week will kick off with a pumpkin trail, which will run until Saturday 31st October.
📆29 October – Dracula is in the House for three very special family-friendly showings of Bram Stoker’s classic tale.
📆30 October – Join one of our spooky craft sessions. They are suitable for children aged 5-12 years old.

☕🍰 Wednesdays are officially treat day at Charlton House. Afternoon tea at Frilly’s is the perfect excuse to catch up with friends or celebrate a special occasion. But on Wednesdays, there’s 10% off. It’s not like we need an excuse to enjoy cake, but this is a pretty good one!

🐶 It’s bring your dog to work day!! 🐾
It might be too hot for them to come into the office this week. But, when it cools down they are welcome at Charlton House & Gardens whenever we are open. As a dog-friendly house and tea rooms, we love welcoming our well behaved four-legged visitors (they must be kept on a lead in the tea room and in parts of the gardens).
With beautiful lawns and gardens to explore, there's plenty of space for a sniff around and a well-earned hydration break. 💧🌳
