Our Mystery Club is coming to an end.
When we launched it, the idea was simple — to share coffees we were excited about and take people on a journey through different origins and roasts.
Whilst Mystery Club is ending, there is still time to be part of something even more special.
Our Founders Club remains open until 14th June.
As a Founders Club member, you don’t just receive coffee — you become part of shaping what comes next at Goatherd. Members help choose and vote on the coffees they’d like us to source and roast each month, whilst supporting the future growth of our family roastery.
Founders Club closes on 14th June and once membership closes, that’s it.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already joined us and supported the journey so far.

Legend says coffee was first discovered by an Ethiopian goatherd named Kaldi.
After noticing his goats becoming unusually energetic from eating bright red cherries from a wild tree, Kaldi collected the berries and brought them to a nearby monastery.
The cherries were thrown into a fire, but the rich aroma that filled the room caught the monks’ attention. The roasted berries were then mixed with hot water, creating what would become the world’s first cup of coffee.
From the mountains of Ethiopia to cups all around the world centuries later — this is the story that inspired the name Goatherd Coffee.

We’ve just hit a big milestone… 10,000 orders.
That number genuinely feels surreal to write.
What started as a passion for great coffee has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of, with thousands of orders sent all over the UK and beyond.
Every single order placed, post shared, recommendation made and message sent has helped build Goatherd Coffee into what it is today.
We’re still a small independent business roasting coffee every week with the same care and attention as day one, and we honestly can’t thank you all enough for supporting us along the way.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for joining the herd.
Here’s to the next 10,000.

Truthfully, the last few days have been a little quieter than normal here at GoatHerd. That’s the reality of running a small independent roastery sometimes.
We always want to share the good moments, but also be transparent when things are a little quieter too.
Every order genuinely makes a difference to us and helps us keep doing what we love — sourcing and roasting coffees we’re proud of.
If you’ve been thinking about trying something new, our Signature Brazil – Rubens Correa has been getting some amazing feedback recently.
Expect notes of toffee, biscuit and hazelnut with a smooth, comforting finish. The kind of coffee you can happily drink every day.
You can check out all the details over on the website.
Also, here’s a selfie in our amazing new Roest P3000 😆
As always, thank you for supporting small independent businesses like ours.

They’re often the coffees that get overlooked because they sound unfamiliar — but they can end up being some of the most memorable cups we roast.
So we wanted to give more people the chance to try one.

This year we’ve blended two incredible Colombian coffees — Dulima and Planadas — bringing together smooth chocolate, rich caramel and juicy blackberry notes. It’s built for the warmer months and makes an amazing cold brew too.
Order by midday today and you could be drinking this over the bank holiday.

We blend two standout Colombian coffees: Colombia Dulima and Colombia Planadas.

£15 for 400g delivered (usually £25) — only 15 bags left.
Last year we did something a bit different…
We released a gin-infused Brazil — and honestly, it was unreal.
And yes — it is infused with gin.
But what that gives you isn’t a harsh alcohol taste… it’s a really clean floral, citrus lift that sits perfectly on top of the coffee.
⸻
Beach Buoys — Brazil Moka Peaberry Gin Infusion
Tasting Notes:
Milk chocolate, almond, orange, grapefruit
* a subtle floral, gin-led brightness
A naturally smooth Brazil peaberry at its core — chocolatey, nutty, easy to drink.
Then layered with delicate botanical notes from Beach Buoys Gin, adding that light, vibrant twist.
The green coffee was infused over two weeks with the gin’s aromatics — slowly absorbing those flavours while keeping the coffee balanced and drinkable.
