🚨NOW SERVING WINE BY THE GLASS🚨
We’re very happy to say you can now enjoy a glass (or two) with lunch at P&R.
And because wine is always better with friends, we’re celebrating by inviting friends, friends of friends, and friends of friends of friends for a second glass on us. So bring a friend for lunch, order a glass each, and the second one is on us! 🍷

IT’S PARTY TIME 🎉✨
Our annual End of Summer Party is back! Join us at the cafe for a night of food, wine, music & dancing as we see out the summer!
As always, we’re bringing together our neighbours, customers, suppliers, collaborators, friends (and friends of friends!) for one big P&R party.
🌶️ Food by Lalita Mitwichan - after hosting some brilliant supper clubs with us over the years, Lalita is back in the kitchen, this time cooking up a Thai street food-style feast for the night. Expect bold flavours, plenty of spice and seriously delicious food.
🍷 Drinks by us - plenty of delicious wines, cold beers and a few party specials to keep things flowing.
🕺 Music by Marie Ⓜ️ - our resident DJ is back on the decks with her usual mix of sun-blushed house, synth pop, Italo disco & deep house.
Come hungry, come thirsty and bring your dancing shoes.

Our croissant pudding is one of our favourite ways to give yesterday’s croissants a very delicious second life 🥐
We bake them into a rich, comforting pudding, changing things up depending on what we have. Sometimes adding nuts, cinnamon, or some extra chocolate 🍫 Topped with a vanilla custard of course 🍮😋

There’s something particularly special about hosting a celebration for two people we’ve come to know from years of pouring their lattes each morning 🤍
Fin & Bri have been regulars at Potter & Reid for years, and we’ve had the lovely privilege of watching their relationship grow over countless coffees. So when they asked if they could celebrate their engagement with us, it felt very full circle.
For the evening, we transformed the café into an intimate dinner for their closest friends and family, with a seasonal sharing menu cooked from scratch in our kitchen.
On the menu:
Sourdough bread & whipped Glastonbury butter
Seasonal pickles
Diamond cantaloupe, nectarine, heritage tomato & holy basil 🌿
Gem lettuce, anchovies, crispy pancetta & parmesan 🥬
Tuscan braised short ribs with farro pilaf 🍖
Brown butter madeleines with flowering thyme glaze
Affogato with Allpress Espresso & vanilla bean ice cream 🍨
This is exactly the kind of gathering we love to host at Potter & Reid - personal, relaxed, beautiful food and a room full of people you love 💙
Our Spitalfields café is available for private hire for engagement parties, birthdays, intimate dinners and celebrations, with bespoke seasonal menus created for each event.

A Caprese… but Potter & Reid style 💙
We’ve taken everything we love about the classic - beautiful tomatoes, creamy mozzarella and fresh basil and added crisp cucumber, a little chilli, plenty of pepper and crunchy fried polenta because texture is everything.
Simple ingredients. Peak season. Big flavours. 🍅✨
