Our first ever team social went a little like this…

We braved the horrible weather, escaped our little coffee shop and got our hands on some clay… and of course I brought some spicy margs

Surprisingly, we made some pretty good stuff. Turns out there’s talent beyond the coffee machine… for some of us 😅

Afterwards, we headed out for Korean BBQ and somehow ended up back on shift cooking 😂 Worth it though, the food was banging

This lot put so much into keeping en’route going, so getting everyone together outside the shop was well overdue

A wholesome evening with a very good bunch 🫶🏼

This needs no introduction… mainly because we’ve already been serving it without one 👀

We meant to give it a proper launch, but got a little distracted by everything else going on

So here’s a slightly overdue hello to our Almond Croissant Latte 🥐

Buttery croissant flavour, toasted almond notes, double espresso and our signature vanilla cold foam, finished with toasted almond flakes

Hot or iced? we’ll leave that decision with you

And yes, those are new cups too
Somehow we slipped those in amongst the chaos 🤎

About Friday night 🌯🍸

A few early hiccups meant the smoke signals went up a little later than planned… but once that charcoal got going, Sidcup got the message 🔥

Lates #006 brought Afghan street food, cold beers and cocktails together, with our new heaters putting in a shift too

With my wife and kids being Afghan, bringing a taste of Afghanistan to our little corner of Sidcup felt extra special

Big love to Two Lads Kitchen for making the journey and bringing the heat! they came a fair way to feed us, so we hope you enjoyed every bite 🙌🏼

Sometimes you just can’t plan for everything…

Unfortunately our food trader wasn’t able to make it last night. Add a touch of rain into the mix and it’s safe to say things weren’t exactly going to plan 😅

My entrepreneurial spirit kicked in… do we cancel? Whip some food up ourselves? Find a DJ? Live music? Or just bite the bullet, open the doors and keep the cocktails flowing

6 staff, a coffee shop full of stock and a team ready to go… there was only really one answer

So we stayed open, ordered some pizzas and shared a few cocktails 🍸🍕

Sometimes things just don’t work out the way you planned and that’s okay. You adapt, make the best of it and keep moving forward

Big love to the team for rolling with it and to everyone who still came down and spent their Friday night with us 🤎

Lates #006 will happen… but for now, it’s back to the drawing board

As the colder mornings creep in we’re getting prepared

There’s nothing better than sitting in front of a heater with a hot cup in hand as the seasons start to change 🍂

So we’re getting our little pergola ready for the colder months

3 new heaters + a roll-up screen to help keep some of that warmth in and the British weather out

Because coffee tastes better when you can still feel your fingers 😂

This one needs very little introduction…

Lobo’s BBQ are back for round 3 for en’route Lates #005 and this time there’s beef rib on the menu 👀

Smoked low and slow until it pretty much falls off the bone. Pair that with a couple of cocktails and I’d say you’ve got yourself a pretty good Friday night

We’re changing things up a little for #005

More seating, a new spot for Lobo’s making takeaway easier and something else up our sleeve that we think you’re going to enjoy 😉

Friday 18th September

We highly recommend getting down early and securing a table because once the food’s gone, it’s gone!
