This one needs very little introduction…
Lobo’s BBQ are back for round 3 for en’route Lates #005 and this time there’s beef rib on the menu 👀
Smoked low and slow until it pretty much falls off the bone. Pair that with a couple of cocktails and I’d say you’ve got yourself a pretty good Friday night
We’re changing things up a little for #005
More seating, a new spot for Lobo’s making takeaway easier and something else up our sleeve that we think you’re going to enjoy 😉
Friday 18th September
Food 5pm–9pm
Cocktails until 10pm
We highly recommend getting down early and securing a table because once the food’s gone, it’s gone!
We can reserve a limited number of tables for 5pm. Send us a DM to reserve yours, then after that it’s walk-ins only
See you next Friday ✌🏼

Sunday called for some new bakes 🥐
Pistachio & Chocolate Knot
Coffee & Walnut Loaf
Marmite & Cheese Swirl
Never thought I’d be saying this but… I think I like Marmite now 😅
Jaya and I kinda shared one, but obviously I’m greedy so you already know what happened
Limited numbers today! You like ‘em, we’ll keep ‘em ✌🏼

It takes a team to build something like this
Just before opening on Friday, we stood watching Sidcup flood and genuinely contemplated calling the whole thing off
But somehow, the rain stopped and the sun came through ☀️
There’s a lot that goes into these nights! From our team working behind the scenes to our food traders cooking and serving non-stop over hot pans
Big S/O to BANGKOK BOX REAL THAI STREET FOOD for absolutely smashing it 🫶🏼
It’s not easy, but seeing Sidcup come together on nights like this makes it worth it
Friday night was one for the books!
We’re only just getting started ✌🏼

I’m not letting my staff off this easy 😅
These have slowly been making their way into our WhatsApp group chat… so naturally I thought I’d share them with you lot too
It’s not all unicorns and rainbows behind the scenes at en’route — things get dropped, smashed, spilt and occasionally broken
P.S. Ed’s actually broken a bone, so cut him some slack 😅
Anyway… Employee of the Month is up for grabs
Who do you think takes the cake? 👀

Soft serve has finally arrived at en’route🍦
A bit late, we know 😅 but life’s been busy!
We’re kicking things off tomorrow from 12pm–4pm
After that, it’ll be popping up on selected days throughout August, weather permitting ☀️ so keep an eye on our stories to see when it’s next available
Creamy vanilla soft serve with your choice of sprinkles and sauces
The perfect recipe for quiet kids, enjoyable coffee’s and hopefully a bit of sunshine
See you tomorrow ✌🏼

This is what all the fuss has been about 👀
We closed a little early today for a very good reason…
Meet the newest member of the team ☕️
Our brand new lamarzocco Linea PB has officially landed, complete with a custom paint job, new filtration and a few other upgrades behind the scenes
A huge thank you to Marina & the team at Old Spike Roastery for making it happen 🤎
We’re always looking for ways to level up what we do, and it’s only possible because of you lot supporting our little coffee shop 🙏🏼
Oh… and we’ve finally got a dedicated decaf grinder for those of you who like to behave after midday 😜

Coffee by day… Cocktails by night ☕️🍸
If someone had told me a year ago our little coffee shop would be packed on a Friday night with families, friends and so many familiar faces… I don’t think I’d have believed them
Last night was something special!
From the moment we opened, the place was buzzing. Every table filled, conversations everywhere, cocktails flowing and our little corner of Sidcup full of life
A huge thank you to Tapas Bravas for another brilliant collaboration. The food was incredible and it was a pleasure having you with us
To our team… you were amazing 🫶🏼 A couple of us (myself included 😅) were running on very little sleep, but you never missed a beat. I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better group of people
And finally, thank you to every single one of you who came down, brought your friends, brought your family and made another en’route lates one to remember
Who knew your local coffee shop could become something like this…
I know I didn’t 🤎

This week’s been a bit mental 😅
The heatwave is getting to all of us, the ice machine can’t keep up and we’re slowly fading from the inside
Luckily, we’ve got coffee to drink and blooming flowers to look at to keep us going
If you’ve visited us recently, you’ve probably noticed there’s been a lot going on 🛠️
Building, signage, vinyls, electricals, drainage, deliveries… the lot
We promise it’s all for the better, so bear with us 🙏🏼
New things are about to hit the shelves, events are coming and there’s plenty going on behind the scenes
For now, the coffee is flowing, the freezer is full of ice and the show must go on ✌🏼

Alright Sidcup… you absolutely blew us away ❤️
There’s always a bit of nervousness when you try something new
As I slid those doors open, I genuinely wondered if anyone would turn up
Safe to say… you answered that question 😅
From the moment we opened, it was non-stop. The queue kept growing, the pergola filled up, the cocktails were flowing and Lobo’s completely sold out in just 2½ hours
To everyone who came down, queued patiently, grabbed a drink, had some food and made our very first en’route lates what it was… thank you. Your support means more than you know 🫶🏼
And to everyone who missed out on food, or who we had to turn away, we’re genuinely sorry. We never expected a response like this. We’ve learnt a lot from night one, and we promise we’ll be back bigger, better prepared and ready for you next time
We’re only just getting started ✌🏼
