🍸This weeks spotlight- Hepple Spirits 🍸
Some spirits capture more than flavour, they capture a landscape. The Hepple Spirits Company, created by an independent, founder-led team in Northumberland, draws its inspiration from the wild ingredients growing on the Hepple Estate. From the estate’s wild green juniper to the botanicals gathered across the moor, the distillery works closely with nature to capture the character of this remarkable landscape in the glass.
What makes the guys at Hepple distinctive is their relentless focus on flavour. By combining traditional copper distillation with more modern extraction techniques, they capture the fullest character of each ingredient, creating a gin that is fresh, bright and aromatic, with bold, layered flavours and a true surround sound expression of juniper. Elegant yet full of character, it provides the perfect foundation for delicious cocktails especially a beautifully cold martini.
At La Cocina, we believe great food and drink starts with great people — and Hepple Gin is an integral part of that story.
