Well we thought we’d enter the 2026 edition too. And whilst lightning didn’t strike twice, we were awarded for each of our entries with a silver medal 🎉 🙌

HOLLIES x THE ROOT CO. 🤝🔥🫚
What better way to spend a weekend than in in Cheshire? 🥕🌲
We introduced our healthy, clean-ingredient ginger beer to over 200 customers while they shopped for local produce, deli meats and delicious treats 🌽🧁
The ginger that we cold-press into our drinks all comes from a single farm in Tanzania (a key reason we’re a B Corp), and there was a great response to this sustainability mission 🤘🌍

📦 Dropped off a VIP package of kicks for

⛑️ Got creative with a hangover fixing beer hat
🏭 Reached double digits - Batch 10, baby!
😴 And promptly crashed out…

WAITROSE WEEKEND BREAKDOWN 💚🫣🫚
👩🍳 Phase 1: we got frostbite stiring our mulled ginger beer…
🔧 Phase 2: Sam desperately tried to fix our stock carrying festival trolly - with a borrowed wrench
🍔 Phase 3: The team had a McDonald’s with our full hi-vis gear on and a great view of a busy road
🍺 Phase 4: Things got steamy during our taste test - and the cuddly teddies had their final sips of ginger beer before they went missing!
🔥 Phase 5: we served a lovely bunch of food and drink festival goers some delish mulled ginger beer
So yes, we were most certainly ready for the weekend😉🎄

Fresh bread, 10/10 croissants and great hot choc - all under one roof by Hove station. Stunning 😍🥐
Great to meet Amber, who started Bayon, and see customers enjoying this ‘simple pleasures’ style bakery 🐕🦺🎣
