GBkebab

GBkebab is a fast food restaurant located at 152 Lower Road, Surrey Quays, London. The restaurant has recently undergone renovation with a brighter and newer decor. As part of the expansion, GBkebab now offers a variety of meals including vegan and vegetarian options in addition to their existing menu. On select days, the restaurant also accepts donations for those who wish to contribute.

Aide for earthquake in Turkey!

We are appealing for your help!

As we are all aware Turkey and Syria have been hit by a very strong earthquake which has led to destroying most of the homes, leaving people injured and causing thousands of deaths. We would like to ask the community to support us throughout these hard times and unite together.

A truck will leave on Saturday morning to deliver the goods for the people in need. We are accepting donations/ materials.

The Turkish consulate has provided a list of things that are needed:

• Blankets
• Sleeping bags
• Tents
• Heaters
• Coats for adults & children (In good condition)
• Rain coats (In good condition)
• Scarves
• Hats
• Gloves
• Baby clothes (In good conditions)
• Hygiene sets
• Pads
• Nappies/ diapers
• Dummies
• Bottles for babies
• Wipes
• First aid kits
• Batteries
• Hand torches

FOOD (Vegetarian ONLY!)

• Canned food
• Dried food (Biscuits, crackers)
• Baby food
• Formula milk for babies

We will pack everything and take it to the location.

To get there by public transport, you can take the train or bus to Surrey Quays Overground Station and then walk towards the direction of Lower Road. Alternatively, you can take the Jubilee Line to Canada Water Station and then transfer to a bus that goes directly to Lower Road.

If you plan on driving, you can park your car at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre's car park and then walk towards Lower Road. However, please note that parking may be limited or subject to charges.
