My 11-year-old son usually loves coming to Haweli, but as the guy running the media here, I wasn’t expecting this level of brutal honesty at the table:
🍟 Fries: “Taste stale, 0/10.”
🍗 Popcorn Chicken: “Wonderful.”
Full context: he’d just unboxed a brand-new handheld PC that afternoon and was so glued to the screen that he left his food sitting until it was basically cold history. Cold fries never stood a chance, but at least the popcorn chicken pulled through. 🎮

When we first opened our doors, the vision was big, but the timeline was conservative. We thought Southall was a decade away. Two years later, the doors opened. Then came Norbury just two years after that—and we thought, this is it, we’ve arrived.
Turns out, London had other plans for us.
Now, Tooting is officially on the horizon. The journey from day one to branch four wasn’t in the original playbook, but every single table we’ve served brought us here.
