We are delighted to announce that X coffee tasting evening will be happening on Wednesday 12 June between 18:30 - 20:00 at Old Bank Coffee House. The event will be an enjoyable evening full of great coffee and conversation in our beautiful coffee shop.

Brood Roastery is a specialty coffee micro-roaster based in Islington. Their aim is to provide sustainably sourced, hand-picked, micro-roasted coffee of the highest quality. It all began with a modest concept: create exceptional specialty coffee. From the simplest filter to the most intricate cold drip coffee, Brood take coffee seriously! Every step of the coffee journey, from seed to cup, is thoughtfully considered. Their suppliers, especially their farmers, are central to their philosophy. Andy and his team are passionate about great coffee and eager to share it with you!

Old Bank Coffee House is a neighbourhood multi-roaster coffee shop, set in a former bank building located in the heart of East Barnet’s village community, founded by husband and wife team Christos and Tara. They offer house espresso and batch brew options by Climpson & Sons as well as a range of carefully chosen guest roasters on their newly launched guest programme. As a family owned, independent coffee shop, they hope that their carefully chosen quality details orchestrate a truly exceptional coffee experience when you visit.

Uganda | Natural | Tropical and boozy on the nose. Sweet and malty with a big velvety texture, perfect as milky espresso. 🍪

1. Colombia | Washed| Blood orange, yellow apple, smoked green tea, toffee sweetness with very long finish. 🍊
2. Ethiopia | Washed | Bergamot, blueberry, black tea, lemon drizzle, sweet and intense mouthfeel. 🫐🍋

3. Colombia Asorcafe Inza | Anaerobic fermented coffee resulting in blueberry, strawberry, sweet lemon, elderflower florals, balanced and sweet, ice tea style-coffee, perfect cold over ice! 🍑🍓🧊

**Anaerobic fermentation is a coffee processing method where coffee is fermented in pressurised sealed tanks deprived of oxygen. This lack of oxygen produces distinct acids, lactic acids for example, that create a different and distinct flavour profile for the coffee.

Some of todays treats from todays visit to the Cypriot mountains in the Troodos region.
For many Cyprus means Sun, Sea and S… , but to experience the real Cyprus, you have to visit the villages and areas in land. We see this little island as the land of churches, bakeries, wineries and the warmest of hospitality with the kindest hearts (philoxenia)!
Sometimes the ones that have lost the most, have the least give the most and appreciate everything simple and good in life.

We always make time to visit Nick the founder of in his beautiful space in the heart of Larnaca.
Nick is a passionate coffee person who spent valuable time in our UK coffee scene before going back to his home land and is at the forefront of pushing great coffee on this coffee loving island.
The coffee here is always consistently good and prepared expertly. Nick attention to detail is shown in everything the shop@has to offer.
If you’re in Larnaca and you’re missing a high end coffee, then pay Nick a visit for sure.
