Dry aged fillet steak, potato rosti, morels and asparagus | Bambole Rosso, Bibi Graetz, Tuscany, Italy 2023
âBibi Graetz âBamboleâ is a soulful expression of Tuscan Sangiovese with crisp acidity cutting through richness of the dish and round, silky tannins complementing exceptionally tender, melt-in-the-mouth texture of fillet steak. The slightly earthy and herbal aspect of the wine enhances the flavour of seasonal asparagus and morels. The wine offers generous bright cherry, violets and small berry fruit notes which elevate the dish and bring balancing sweeter aromatic accent.â

What people say
Mount St. Restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in London. This restaurant seamlessly blends art and design into its ambiance, making it a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. The Scottish Room is a particular highlight, showcasing Jacobite history with 623 hand-carved Scottish White Rose cockades and a bespoke nine-metre Scottish oak table crafted by joinery artisan Kelvin Murray. Meanwhile, the Games Room features an artist intervention by Anj Smith, hand-painted directly onto the circular ceiling of the iconic Audley turret, reinterpreting tentacle erotica alongside an homage to Louise Bourgeois in the form of a rug designed by Jerry Gorovoy, Bourgeoisâs long-time assistant. Even the salt and pepper cruets are inspired by American artist Paul McCarthyâs much-discussed âTreeâ (2014) sculpture. With such attention to detail and creativity evident throughout Mount St. Restaurant, it's no wonder that this establishment has quickly become a favorite among London's foodies and art lovers alike.
