1️⃣ Constantly doing the dishes — somehow there are 100 bowls after baking ONE cake 😭

The worst mistake was decorating a cake when I was tired! Learnt the hard way as I ended up redoing it, but I was pleased with the end results. The best part is the customer loved it 💜💜💜

Running a one-woman cake business AND trying to keep up with content creation feels like juggling flaming cupcakes 🎂🔥

Algorithms keep changing, reach is all over the place, and somehow I’m supposed to bake, decorate, film, edit, post… and repeat 😅�The struggle is real!

But here I am—still showing up, still creating custom cakes, still learning how to grow online one post at a time.

A wedding cake that makes a statement ❤️🌸

Congrats 🥂 to L + D on your beautiful wedding day — it was such a joy to be part of it.

This bespoke wedding cake was all about bold reds and soft pinks — a romantic, modern colour palette that I absolutely love. The piping detail made this design so fun to create and really brought the whole cake to life.

One of my favourite details? The bride took inspiration from my matches (kindly gifted by ) and turned it into a custom cake topper — such a perfect example of how ideas come together through sharing ✨

The STAR cake is not one to play with ✨💫

My second ever star-shaped cake and this one pushed my skills to the next level! Huge thanks to my go-to .stamp for the star ganache plates — they made creating that seamless, sharp shape so much easier.

This beauty took serious patience… lots of scraping, smoothing, and a whole lotta love to get it just right. But the final result? Worth every second.

The best part? The cake perfectly matched the customer’s stunning dress — and she absolutely loved it 🧡🧡🧡

Thank you, March… what a month it’s been! 🎂✨

From long days (and even longer nights 😅) running my self-employed cake business, March was packed with custom cakes, cupcakes, wedding bookings and corporate orders. I honestly lost count of how many cupcakes I made… but I’m so grateful for every single order 💕

One of the biggest highlights?
Completing a large corporate cake order with the help of my amazing team 🙌.

I’ve also booked wedding fayres for next year and gained some lovely Google reviews. Thank you 🤩

Of course, not everything is perfect (hello to the occasional ghosting 👻😂), but that’s all part of the journey of running a small baking business.
