What special occasions you are looking forward to this spring?
28-50 South Kensington was a renowned restaurant that delighted its customers with the magic of French and modern European cuisine. Located on Draycott Avenue, the restaurant prided itself on its carefully curated wine list, featuring 15 white and 15 red wines by the glass, carafe, and bottle. The team at 28-50 made sure to serve only wines they liked - ones that drink well, are interesting, and offer good value. They frequently changed their wine list to provide different styles and grapes for patrons to try.
In addition to their impressive wine selection, 28-50 South Kensington offered a unique "Collectors' List" of fine wines from private collectors' personal cellars. This allowed them to showcase unusual and mature wines at their peak, some of which were rarely seen elsewhere.
The restaurant also held special events, such as their unlimited champagne and oyster feast each weekend. With Ayala Champagne as their house champagne, guests could enjoy the aromas of white flowers and waves of bubbles paired with fresh oysters served with lemons and traditional finely diced shallots in red wine vinegar. This lavish 90-minute feast was available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm.
Sadly, it is with regret that we inform you that 28-50 South Kensington has permanently closed its doors.
