Vacqueyras, Chateau des Tours 2016
From the late, great Emmanuel Reynaud this is the ultimate expression of Vacqueyras, dark kirsch, truffle and crushed herbs. As true masters of old vine grenache, the Reynaud family deliver an unbelievably silky wine with a small portion of Syrah to give a spicy lift and depth.
Perfect to pair with our Chateaubriand of Lake District Beef ‘Primavera’.

Clos Rougeard, Saumur-Champigny, Loire Valley, France 2019
Clos Rougeard is not a name new to anyone with an interest in wine; the near 350-year-old domaine in the Loire's Saumur is highly sought-after, and for good reason. 100% Cabernet Franc, notes of red and black plums, sappy herbaceous notes, some forest floor, on the palate this wine has incredible purity, and an excellently layered structure of tannins and acidity, with a finish that never seems to end.
Available by-the-glass at Trinity.

Gravner, Ribolla Gialla, Venezia Giulia, Italy 2015
Joško Gravner is a legendary pioneer of skin-contact winemaking, with his ethereal, unique cuvees achieving cult status over the many decades of his career. Here, the native Ribolla Gialla is aged in Georgian qvervis to create a full-bodied amber wine, with notes of blood orange, eucalyptus, saffron, dried apricots and pine resin, providing a great opportunity to try one of the world's great skin-contact wines.
Available by-the-glass.
