Celebrating One Year of Monument! 🎉
Today marks the first anniversary of the opening of our Monument restaurant, and what better way to celebrate than with a party for the team!
It’s been a fantastic first year, and today was all about recognising the people who make it happen every day. A huge thank you to the Monument team for their hard work, dedication and commitment to delivering great experiences for our customers.

Today, we were delighted to reopen our Royston restaurant following an extensive refurbishment, including the largest external play area of any McDonald’s in the UK and a terrace seating area. The restaurant also features additional beverage and kitchen capacity, accuracy scales for both our drive-thru and delivery customers, a room for our delivery couriers and and a pull forward window to make our drive thru lane even faster. We’ve even extended our sky sign to advertise our car charging points to our customers.
We are really excited of our brand-new restaurant look forward to welcoming customers back to enjoy the refreshed space with family and friends.
Thank you to everyone involved in bringing the refurbishment to life, and to our customers for their patience during the works.

Today, our Wellbeing Leads teamed up with the McDonald's Biggleswade crew and got into the McHappy Day spirit with a brilliant little fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House UK .
For just £1, customers could choose their own mystery bag, with a little surprise toy inside! It was fantastic seeing the excitement as everyone picked their bag and discovered their surprise.
