Last week ahead of the launch of the new McCafé® promotion, our amazing restaurant teams across Capital Arches Group enjoyed a little sampling experience with the delicious new vanilla and salted caramel coffee syrups that you can add to the coffee! 😍
It was a great opportunity for our teams to get a taste of what’s coming, share the excitement and get ready to welcome our customers to the new promotion.

Yesterday, as part of International Day of Charity, some of our fantastic team members along with Phoenix Girls Football team rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in with a charity car wash, raising funds for Ronald McDonald House UK ❤️
It was brilliant to see our teams coming together, getting involved and having a bit of fun while supporting such an important cause.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, helped organise the event, and to all those who stopped by and donated. Every contribution makes a difference. 🙌

Today, the team at CAG attended a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) Training for Employers, delivered by Centre Point.
The session explored what it means to take a trauma-informed approach to recruitment, line management and day-to-day working with young people who have experienced trauma, particularly in the context of homelessness.
A key takeaway was that creating meaningful opportunities is about more than simply opening the door to employment. It’s about understanding the experiences people may have faced, creating supportive working environments, and equipping our teams with the knowledge and practical tools to help people succeed.
We also looked at practical ways we can embed these principles across our business and teams — ensuring our approach continues to be both compassionate and effective.
We’re proud to be working with Centrepoint to support their efforts to end youth homelessness and to help create genuine employment opportunities for the young people they work with.
Thank you to the Centrepoint team for an insightful and thought-provoking session. We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership and turning what we’ve learned into meaningful action.

🎉 Officially reopened! 🎉
Today, we were delighted to mark the official reopening of McDonald’s Rush Green following its exciting refurbishment.
It was a pleasure to welcome Josh Dean MP, who officially opened the newly refurbished restaurant and joined us in celebrating this important milestone for our team and the local community.
The refurbishment has given Rush Green a fresh new look and enhanced experience for our customers, while continuing to provide a great place for our crew to work and develop. 🍔✨
A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing the refurbishment to life, and to our fantastic Rush Green team for all their hard work throughout the process.

Celebrating our people. ❤️
We were delighted to host our Capital Arches Group Family Fun Day & Sports Tournament this Sunday — a wonderful opportunity to bring colleagues and their families together and celebrate the people who make our business what it is.
The day featured football and cricket tournaments, activities for children, great food including pizza and fried chicken, an ice cream van, and music from our DJ — creating a fantastic atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Events like this are a great reminder of the importance of teamwork, connection and taking time to celebrate together. It was fantastic to see so many colleagues and families getting involved, supporting one another and enjoying the day.
A sincere thank you to everyone who attended and to all those who helped make the event such a success.

Today marked an exciting milestone for Capital Arches Group as we launched our Restaurant Leadership Accelerator Programme (RLAP) with our first cohort of nine Business Managers.
Our first session focused on Insights Discovery, exploring self-awareness, leadership styles, building stronger connections and understanding the impact we have on those around us.
RLAP is a six-session leadership journey designed to develop our people from the inside out — starting with leading ourselves, before progressing to leading others, leading performance and creating greater impact.
We’re incredibly proud to invest in the development of our Business Managers and create opportunities for our people to grow, challenge themselves and become the leaders of the future.
A huge thank you to our first RLAP cohort for their openness, curiosity and enthusiasm, and to Warren Fry, Director of Operations, for his continued support in developing the next generation of CAG leaders.
This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see where the journey takes them! 🚀❤️
