🍀 Make Paddy’s Day one to remember at The Smugglers Inn 🍀
St. Patrick’s Day is always very close to our hearts here at the Smugglers Inn, and this year we’re making a real celebration of it with a Paddy’s Day Extravaganza across the weekend. We’d love nothing more than to see all of our wonderful regulars and some new friendly faces come together to celebrate with us 🇮🇪✨
On Sunday 15th March from 4pm, we’re delighted to welcome Two in Accord, bringing the very best in Irish country and modern favourites, joined by the fantastic Mary O’Rourke. Expect great music, a brilliant atmosphere, and plenty of good cheer to get the celebrations started 🎶🍻
Then on Tuesday 17th March, join us for our big Paddy’s Day Special, where we’ll be raising a glass, sharing a laugh, and celebrating everything we love about this special day. ☘️

our local postbox has had a little knitted topper appear overnight and we absolutely love it! 📮🧶
For anyone wondering, these are a lovely UK tradition where mystery knitters (often called postbox fairies) decorate the boxes to brighten everyone’s day. Someone spends hours making them just to put a smile on people’s faces.
We’re wondering… could this one be a very early sign that St Patrick’s Day is on the way? 👀
Rumour has it there might even be a little Irish leprechaun hiding somewhere inside the pub over the next week… 🍀
If you spot him, let the bar staff know… We hope to see as many of you for our traditional St Patricks weekend celebrations.

For those driving, they can take the A23 and turn onto Chipstead Valley Road. The pub has a car park for visitors.
