In the depths of winter, one naturally turns to citrus.
Its colour steadies the eye; its scent suggests warmth; its flavour carries a memory of the Mediterranean sun.

Orange appears in several of our desserts — chosen not only for its taste, but for the brightness it brings to the table. A modest reminder of warmer places, offered here in Dalston.

It feeds, it comforts, it waits patiently to be transformed.

In our cooking, it appears again and again: alongside Pollo alla Milanese, with broccoli and gorgonzola, beneath slow-cooked Stinco De Agnello...

As one year draws to a close, we pause — just for a moment — to look back.

2025 was a year of many kinds of conversations at :
serious ones, inquisitive ones, romantic ones, thoughtful ones, and sometimes beautifully silent ones.

One person. Two people. Groups, families, friends, strangers who became familiar.
Moments passing through — laughter, waiting, raising a glass, picking up the phone, sharing a table.

Thank you to everyone who made this year part of their own journey.
Even briefly. Even once.
