We’re delighted to announce The Parent Pod as Everyone Active’s 2026 Community Champion for North Yorkshire!
The Parent Pod was created to provide inclusive, supportive and affordable activities for children with additional needs and their families in Scarborough.
Through the Community Champions scheme, The Parent Pod will have access to facilities at Scarborough Sports Village, helping them continue their fantastic work while creating even more opportunities for local families to connect, take part and feel supported.

We've had a fantastic time this week! Everyone Active in Havering worked with Havering HAF to provide physical activity in the form of ice skating and swim at our centres. For some this was their first time on the ice, and they loved it. They were then provided with healthy lunches and snacks. We saw 84 children this week across 3 days.
HAF is great way to introduce children to a new activity, learning new skills and making new friends outside of the usual school setting.
