We sold out of banana cake today, that’s loaves and slices. For us that’s a first. My head is now telling me to increase the supply for next time but with markets you never know what the day will bring. Thank you to all who stopped by the stall today including the wonderful traders. This small business felt your love today 🫶

Ada’s Pies will be at Pentagon Food & Craft Market on Saturday 8th August alongside other amazing traders. Stop by and pick up some handmade feel goodies.
Our food stall will have delicious meatpies, fluffy banana cake slices/loafs and delectable biscuits which sold out the last time we were there. Preorder today by 6pm and collect from our stall this Saturday between 10am-5pm.

Croissants- A whole day affair!
Hello, everyone I’ve been really quiet on here recently but just wanted to share this with you. For the longest time I’ve been wanting to make croissants from scratch, so one morning I decided to give it go and ended up spending a huge chunk of my day making them. My family and friends were eager to try them and loved the thought of having homemade croissants. The above photo is the end result and for my first attempt, I don’t think I did too badly. This exercise really was a labour of love as I didn’t realise just how much work goes into making these buttery pastries. However, I can safely say I won’t be making croissants anytime soon but at least I can tick this off my bucket list.
I’ve learnt bitter lessons recently, that this life is really for the living, so make it count because you don’t know when your time is up. When life gives you lemons: make lemon juice! What’s on your bucket list? Share in the comments below.
