Piebury Corner - Kings Cross

Piebury Corner - Kings Cross Piebury Corner - Kings Cross was a British restaurant, deli, and food delivery service offering casual dining and takeaway options. They served up award-winning pies (including meat, veg, fruit, gluten-free, and vegan options), scotch eggs, beers, wine, craft beers and cocktails while playing good music. Piebury Corner began in 2011 as a food stall selling hand-made gourmet pies to Arsenal football fans on their way to the Emirates Stadium. Its worrying times for everyone all around the world right now, and according to the gov website full details of the government backed Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme details won't be announced for another week, which seems a very long way away, and even then we can't be guaranteed to be eligible!

We have set up this gofundme campaign to appeal to all of you that have visited either our Holloway Shop or Kings Cross Restaurant, or are simply just Arsenal fans, to help by donating a small tip to show your appreciation of our staff.

The funds raised will be used to pay our staff the holiday pay they have accrued , so they so they can continue to pay their bills whilst we are closed in these worrying times.

A small donation by many goes a long way!

For donations greater than £15 we will send you £15 gift voucher to use when we are back open.

This week, due to Coronavirus, we decided to close our Kings Cross restaurant until furth… Piebury Corner needs your support for Help save Piebury Staffs Jobs

KINGS CROSS RESTAURANT CLOSED

Given the weekend news that France and Holland have ordered all bars, cafes and restaurants to close and Ireland has also told bars to close, we have decided to close our Kings Cross Restaurant until further notice.

The Government have not enforced anything yet, but we feel it is only a matter of time they will. As we are in the heart of Kings Cross and have a lot of travellers coming into the restaurant, we feel that to remain open we are putting our staff and customers all at risk of contracting the Virus, which is something that we feel extremely uncomfortable with this.

Massive thanks to everyone for they’re support up until now. Stay safe out there peeps.

Good news for High Streets up and down the country. This long overdue move suspending business rates by the government could just about save us and many other small businesses if the city goes into lock down. After Manzes pie & mash shop on Chapel Market went down for this very reason 3 years ago, Nicky campaigned throughout the media for reductions in business rates. Both the restaurant here and the cafe qualify under the new criteria. Kicks in next month. 👍

THE pie shop opposite Arsenal will be whacked with a crippling 205 per cent business rate hike while the Premier League giant will get a 2.3 per cent cut, the Sun can reveal. The injustice will net…

Ok so the British Pie Awards no golds or class winner like last year but 3 silvers and 2 bronzes from 7 entries into the 18 classes in the comp. Over the last 8 years this takes our medal tally to around 65 which is not bad considering 1 Year we had zero. There’s over 100 pie makers entering the awards now so mustn’t grumble. If you’re in London today the pie shops open from 11 30 this morning, tables can be booked through the open table on the website or call the shop direct on 0207 688 2987 for the alternative Sunday lunch. What people say

British restaurants are known for their hearty and comforting dishes, and Piebury Corner - Kings Cross is no exception. This casual dining spot offers a range of award-winning pies that cater to all dietary needs, including meat, veg, fruit, gluten-free, and vegan options. The handcrafted pies are the star of the show here, but Piebury Corner also serves up delicious scotch eggs and a selection of craft beers and cocktails.

What makes Piebury Corner truly special is its story. It all started as a fun food stall in Paul and Nicky Campbell's front garden in Highbury N5, selling gourmet pies to Arsenal fans on match days. The success of the stall led to the opening of Piebury Corner - The Pie Deli in Holloway N7 in 2012. The deli's well-designed shop fit-out, historic turnstile tables, and eclectic music playlist soon attracted a non-football clientele.

In June 2017, Piebury Corner opened its fully licensed air-conditioned casual dining restaurant in Kings Cross. The restaurant has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.

Piebury Corner is not just about great food; it also hosts art exhibitions and other events that bring the community together. Whether you're looking for a quick takeaway or a leisurely meal with friends or family, Piebury Corner - Kings Cross is definitely worth checking out.
