We do not say this lightly: this might be the most stunning espresso we have ever served.
Introducing Edinson Argote Chiroso Natural, roasted by the brilliant Aether Coffee Roasting.
Sourced from Quebraditas Coffee Farm in Huila, Colombia, this is a rare Caturra Chiroso varietal, naturally processed with an intense, multi stage fermentation that delivers unreal depth and clarity in the cup. Think expressive, complex, and wildly memorable.
Why the hype:
• Rare Chiroso varietal
• Natural process with extended fermentation
• Producer led by Edinson Argote
• Exceptionally expressive as espresso
It is £1.50 extra per cup. Yes, that is expensive. And yes, it is absolutely worth it.
Important bits
• Available in store only
• No retail bags
• Served by the cup at the bar
• Very limited supply
Once it is gone, it is gone.
Available now at both Carbon Kopi stores.

2025 round up 💫 Two neighbourhood coffee shops, both alike in dignity not in personality, in fair Hammersmith & Fulham where we lay our scene:
Fulham slung more iced drinks + takeaway, while Barons Court served up more classic espressos and relaxed sit-down chats.
Not naming names… but some of you need loyalty cards just for cookies.
• Flat whites poured: Tens of thousands
• Iced lattes drunk in winter: shockingly many for this icy climate
• Times someone said “oat milk please”: honestly, too many
• Dogs petted: infinite
• Regulars who become firm friends: more every year
Thanks for showing up, bringing your friends, family, trusting us with your morning rush, first dates, study sessions, kid chaos, quiet moments, and everything in between.
Bring on 2026: same great coffee, warm service, and a home for the community 🏡
Open 1 and 2 Jan 7.30-5 both stores — see you for your first coffee of the year! 💥
