Our octopus is sourced locally in the Cornish coast and around Devon, slowly braised in aromatics and then grilled over charcoal. Served with a dollop of crushed roast garlic and paprika folded into the rice.

We’re so happy to introduce our new head chef, Giuliano.
joined the Oren family three months ago. He’s worked in some of the UK’s most celebrated kitchens (Lita, Brat, Barrafina, and with the Galvin brothers), but what really makes him special is the way he cooks. He has a deep respect for great ingredients and a fearless approach to flavour.
Since arriving, he’s brought fresh collaborative energy and ideas to the menu while keeping Oren’s heart and soul right where it belongs: in open fire cooking, seasonal produce, and food that’s both simple and refined.

Smoked Po***ck Pastrami
Caught off the Cornish coast by our friends , the po***ck is cured in salt and spices for 48 hours, then washed, rubbed in our signature pastrami spice blend, and cold-smoked in-house.
Served with burnt sweet Romano peppers, it’s our take on the classic New York–style beef pastrami — only with a coastal twist, and every bit as irresistible.

Schmaltz Herring Salad, Red Roseval potatoes, mustard vinaigrette.
“Schmaltz” typically refers to rendered poultry fat — but in this case, it nods to the rich, fatty herring caught at peak season. Salty, silky, and full of flavour, paired with waxy Roseval potatoes and a punchy vinaigrette.

It’s £26pp for 2 courses or £30pp for 3 courses, Tuesday to Thursday, 5–7pm
We’re serving some favourite Oren plates—think a sardine flatbread and our classic pork chop. It’s the perfect early dinner for an after-work catch-up or just because you’re hungry.
And if you’re after a bigger meal, the regular menu will still be available.

Cured Cornish sardine flatbread with preserved lemon, sour cream and Rigla (Purslane).
Our cured sardines were always on our menu since we opened our doors nearly six years ago. We decided to give them a delicious bed to rest on.

A chilled melon and tomato gazpacho on the menu for lunch today. Light and sharp with floral notes from the cantaloupe.

We’ve been busy here absorbing the summer vibes and the bounty it brings with it.
Introducing a couple of very seasonal desserts featuring English strawberries with a Chantilly cream and a touch of soured cream, and a chocolate frangipane tart with the best cherries we can get our hands on.
Open until 11pm tonight and tomorrow weee here from 12pm with some new additions to our £32 fix menu.
