Some things are just better in the pub & England tournament games are one of those things. This photo captures the moment England won their first World Cup penalty shoot out against Colombia in 2018, what a feeling, what a night, the pub was buzzing. Hopefully plenty more of that coming up over the next month. Two weeks to go until this England team kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia at 9pm. 6 years ago today. It was a such a shame Griffin Park didn’t get the send of it deserved but the new place is doing alright isn’t it? Still giving the “big” teams bloody noses (and still plenty of moaning 😂). Couldn’t have imagined then Brentford FC would be sitting 6th in the premier league with three games to go.
