We’re looking for a short-form content creator to collaborate with Dendara who can capture the feeling and details of what we do.
The role is focused on reels and documenting the atmosphere of the bakery through movement, texture, food, storytelling, and culturally relevant visual content.
The brand voice and creative direction are already very established internally, so we’re specifically looking for someone who can visually translate the world of Dendara through video.

It’s fascinating how we tend to hold onto what we love, ordering the same thing again and again and wanting it to stay exactly as it is, while the creative in us is constantly being pulled to evolve, to question, to make space for something new.
For Salma, usually that shows up as unexpected combinations, but this time the nudge was different - it was to take something classic and do it really, really well, without compromising on what matters.
So we moved from our original paleo cookie into something more expansive: a chocolate chip and a double chocolate that are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, low sugar and refined sugar-free, with that same crackling top and soft, gooey center… and somehow, they’ve become the ones that disappear the fastest.

Our Eid Ma’amoul Box is arriving second week of March ✨🌙
A timeless Arabic cookie made for festive moments (and honestly, perfect with your morning coffee too). Delicately crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth biscuits, each one hand-filled and moulded with care because some traditions deserve patience.
This year’s variety box includes:
• Date & sesame (no added sugar)
• Pistachio
• Dark chocolate
All vegan, no added sugar and gluten-free as always!
Naturally sweet, deeply comforting, and made as they should be - slow and intentional. Warm them slightly in the oven for that perfect, buttery texture and dust with icing sugar if you like it the classic way.

For Valentine’s, we’ve prepared a small constellation of specials:
6” Beet Velvet cakes layered with hibiscus-poached pears and cardamom cream - one inscribed “My Love For You Is Celestial,” and one left beautifully bare.
We’re also offering a limited number of Mini Love Boxes, each with two heart-shaped Beet Velvet cakes and two Hibiscus Tarts crowned with rose cream.

Basbousa is back as a special!
Fresh rosemary leaves are gently macerated with juiced oranges, blossom, zest, and whole spices to create the fragrant soak for our cake bites.
This season’s flavour celebrates pistachio in every form; silky house-made crémeux, pistachio paste, and fresh pieces layered for depth and texture.
Inspired by the flavours of home, especially with Ramadan approaching. We released it a little early… because the demand said so 💫

Greetings, friends, I hope the year has begun quietly and intentionally 🌺
�I’ve spent the holiday period refining: softer rhythms, clearer boundaries, and creations guided by seasonality and intention. With that, an important menu update to share.
As of this year, our menu follows a strictly seasonal rotation, available only during specific quarters and festive periods. This allows us to create sustainably, stay inspired, and offer you our best work - without overwhelm, especially in the current economic climate.
If an item isn’t listed on our webshop, it means it’s currently off-menu, and we’re unable to take orders for it outside its seasonal window - no exceptions.
I’ve also lovingly retired a few creations to make space for what truly resonates and sells best. While the artist in me could keep abundantly creating, the director ensures the lights stay on. Finding harmony between the two is the work now.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty.

Hi friends,
Our holiday closure days for Christmas are Wednesday 24th till 26th.
We’ll be open for that weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th.
Then closing again for New Years on Wednesday 31st and Thursday 1st of January, and resume officially from Friday 2nd.
A gentle reminder, we’re closed every Monday and Tuesday as always!

Dare I say it… this IS the best cheesecake ever.
Basque cheesecakes have always been my preferred dessert, but the usual overload of dairy and sugar? Absolutely not for me. So I recreated it: no dairy, made with an almond-based cream cheese, gently scented with mastic gum and vanilla, and only very lightly sweetened.
It’s got the iconic burnt top, the silky centre, and - according to customers - they can’t believe it’s free-from! A massive win as I find gluten easy to remove and substitute in recipes but dairy is a lot more of a challenge in terms of noticing a difference in flavour..
It’s been flying out the door, and stock is tight. Grab a slice while it lasts. Limited pieces are up on the webshop too.

I’ve been working on perfecting our pie crust, and at long last… this one rises to my sky-high standards.
A golden, flaky crust filled with spiced, buttery apples and a subtle hint of rose from our homemade jam. We blend sweet and tart apples for depth, then macerate them with rose blossoms for that extra lift.
Best eaten warm. We’ve already been moving plenty behind the scenes these past weeks… and now it’s officially available in the bakery and on the webshop.

When creating recipes, my foundation was always indulgence without compromise. For me, there wasn’t a gluten-free (let alone, also dairy-free or vegan) baked good I could enjoy without feeling heavy, dull, or just off. I stopped them altogether, unwilling to trade fleeting pleasure for days of digestive distress.
And then came our tarts and cakes 💫🍒
This chocolate cake, in particular, has become a favorite for many of our regulars, who often share it’s “the best they’ve ever had” and praise at how it’s “light, kind, and nourishing.”
It has 3 layers of fudgy chocolate cake, vegan and gluten-free, with naturally sweet, slightly tart raspberry compote and a delicate tang of hibiscus curd, finished with a glossy, unsweetened dark chocolate ganache. Sugar kept as minimal as possible, as we always do!
Feeling joy is the greatest nourishment and experiencing it without compromise is what we set out to create!
