Hey Hampton ๐ the pizzeria will be closed this week as chef Enzo and I are away on holiday to get rested up for the Spring & Summer season.
We'll be back open Weds, March 5th.
* for bookings - you can reach us via text or email, though I won't likely respond until Mon 4/03.

That's right, we've got two positions open!
We're looking for a second pizzaiolo to join the team.
๐ 25-30 hours a week, Weds-Sun.
๐จโ๐ณ Minimum 1 year of experience.
โด๏ธ English speaking (Italian speaking is an extra bonus).
We're also looking for a kitchen porter.
๐ 5-10 hours a week.
โด๏ธ No experience needed.
๐ Potential to work some Front of House positions as well (someone flexible & willing to learn is ideal).

Heads up Hampton, we'll be closed the week of February 13th ๐
We will reopen as normal of Weds, Feb 22nd.
We're taking some time off to regroup before an exciting/busy Spring & Summer ahead. Hopefully this will be the last time we have to close bc we'll be hiring a second pizzaiolo in March๐จโ๐ณ๐ค

It's been a while since we sold out, but we did last night and it reminded me to do a post explaining how/why that sometimes happens (much as we try to avoid it).

This means we have to make our best prediction about how many dough balls we're going to sell the next day based on the info we have the night before (such as # of bookings, day of the week, past sale data, the weather, etc.).

The dough is in *peak* condition after 24hrs. Meaning we want to have as little leftover as possible and use fresh dough every day so you all have the best product.
So every day we try hit that *sweet spot* - not selling out, but have very few dough balls remaining at the end of the night.

But even with all that info we can't always predict how strong Hampton's hankering for pizza will be and we sell out.
Each week brings new data & lessons to help us improve our operations so it happens less and less. We appreciate you all being along for the journey ๐

Sadly we will be closed tomorrow, Weds NOV 30th.
Chef Enzo has been under the weather the last couple days and we want to make sure he's fully recovered before getting him back in front of the oven. Unfortunately sous chef Rosario is also in Italy right now and we couldn't find another chef to help us out tomorrow so you'll have one less day of pizza this week ๐ฅบ

To get to Wensleydale Road in Hampton, you can take the 111 or R70 bus and get off at the stop near Elmfield Avenue. From there, walk south on Elmfield Avenue and turn right onto Wensleydale Road.
If you're driving, take the A316 and exit onto Hampton Court Way. Turn left onto Saxon Road and then right onto Station Road. Turn left onto High Street/Hampton Hill and continue straight until you reach Wensleydale Road.
There may be limited street parking available on Wensleydale Road or nearby streets. Alternatively, there is a car park located a short distance away on Station Road (Hampton Station Car Park) which offers paid parking options.
